摘要： The present invention relates to a process for the production of impregnated wood pieces for use in pencil production, and pencils with shafts including such impregnated wood pieces, wherein the process comprises two process stages, namely a) a first process stage, comprising a first impregnation step, in which an untreated wood piece is at least partially, impregnated with a first aqueous impregnating solution of an impregnating agent selected from the group consisting of 1,3-dimethylol-4,5-dihydroxyethylene urea or a derivative or modification thereof, and a catalyst, and a subsequent curing step, in which the impregnated wood piece is cured in a hot steam atmosphere at an elevated temperature above 100° C., and b) a second process stage comprising a second impregnation step, whereby the impregnated, cured wood piece is at least partially impregnated with a second aqueous impregnating solution of a wax emulsion paraffin based as an impregnating agent.

摘要： This invention relates to the process for obtaining sheets made from seaweed that, when wrapped around a coal mine, wax mine or ink loads, give rise to the cylindrical and elongated cover of pencil or pen made based on algae, salt, bentonite and water, with a final layer of cotton thread optionally, tinctured with natural plant elements and having seeds at its rear end.The process for the production of films made from algae by heat treatment with the addition of salt and bentonite for making covers of pencil or pen comprises the following steps: i) boiling seaweed containing collagen for gelatinization together with salt and bentonite; ii) poring the gelatinized algae into the bowl and dip a graphite for writing; iii) subjecting to temperature for drying the algae and obtaining sheets; iv) cutting the sheets, according to the size of graphite for writing, leaving a space at the rear end to place the seeds; and iv) wrapping the graphite for writing with pieces of wet sheets to obtain a particular shape.

摘要： A seed-containing crayon includes an elongated member formed of a marking composition to leave a colored mark on a surface when the elongated member contacts the surface. The marking composition is formed of a wax, a pigment, and a plant nutrient that is activated by application of water to the elongated member. Plant seeds are embedded in the marking composition of the elongated member. The crayon can include a paper band that at least partially surrounds the elongated member along at least part of the length of the elongated member in which the plant seeds are embedded.

摘要： A wood-encased pencil for writing, sketching, drawing, and cosmetic purposes includes grip surfaces or grip nubs projecting from at least one surface thereof as handling raised structures. The structures are of a plastic material and are applied in the form of an initially flowable preparation which includes at least one plastic and that later solidifies to give the raised structures. In a first variant, the preparation is anhydrous and is of a radiation-curable plastic. In a second variant, the preparation is, likewise, anhydrous, but its solidification is based on physical drying. For such a purpose, the preparation is of an organic solvent as well as a plastic.

摘要： A writing instrument having a ergonomic configuration and methods for making the instrument are provided. The instrument is elongated having an equilateral triangular cross-section and having a uniform partial twist along the length thereof. The partial twist permits flat surface engagement for the index finger, middle finger and for the hand between the base of thumb and the base of the index finger of the user. The uniform twist in combination with the equilateral cross-sectional shape also permits tight packing in bulk, and the partial twist permits flat sided engagement with the resting surface (desk top). A method for making the instrument in the form of a rigid pencil is also provided.

摘要： A pencil barrel is prepared by extruding, shaping, and cooling, under controlled conditions, a foamable, thermoplastic resin-based composition. The combination of the particular extrudable composition and the means of shaping and cooling the tubular extrudate obtained therefrom are readily useful as barrels, i.e. sheaths, for sharpenable pencils, particularly in the cosmetic industry. The resultant pencil barrels are characterized by their sharpenability, uniform satin-matte smoothness, outstanding printability, and their prolonged resistance to atmospheric conditions. The method for making said pencil barrels is also disclosed.
