The clamping mechanism has a first member, a second member disposed perpendicular to the first member, and an edge. The clamping mechanism has X, Y, and Z axes, The screen has a first surface and a second surface perpendicular to the first surface. A protruding stop is disposed on at least one of the first surface and the second surface. The screen is positioned in the clamping mechanism so that the first surface abuts the first member, the second surface abuts the second member, and the protruding stop abuts the edge. The base includes an open frame which defines a volume which is shaped and dimensioned to receive a burn unit, so that when the burn unit is placed within the volume the burn unit is visible.

摘要： A squeegee handle assembly for holding a squeegee applicator. The handle assembly has a tubular body, an externally lipped opening and a stabilizing structure. The stabilizing structure is disposed on the inner wall of the tubular body opposite the externally lipped opening. A pair of end caps are provided to engage the ends of the tubular handle body. The handle assembly is constructed and arranged to trap a portion of the squeegee applicator within the tubular body without impairing the function of the exposed squeegee applicator blade during use.

摘要： A printing machine has a box frame rotatably holding an attachment arm to which various size workpiece supporting means may be connected. A series of screen frames are secured over a workpiece support, secured to the attachment arm in exact registration, so that numerous colors may be sequentially printed on a material held on the workpiece support. The attachment arm and workpiece support can be pivoted in one direction to mount a non-planar workpiece to be printed thereon, and then allowed to return to a rest position to mount a series of screen frames thereon for sequentially printing different images and colors on the workpiece held on the workpiece support, below the screen.

摘要： An apparatus and method for tensioning a screen on a roller frame are disclosed. The apparatus includes a fixture having a plurality of clamp mechanisms for releasably securing the frame to define a screen tensioning plane, and at least one double-headed wrench for applying torque to the frame rollers adjacent opposite ends thereof. Each torque wrench includes a lever arm which is operable by torso engagement, thereby freeing a user's hands for manually unlocking and locking a selected roller for rotation.

摘要： The basic module comprises a frame, a support which is mounted to reciprocate vertically on the frame adjacent the rear thereof, and a printing screen, which projects horizontally forwardly from the support in cantilever fashion. A cable, which is attached at one end to the support and at its opposite end to the frame, passes intermediate its ends over a plurality of pulleys, certain of which are mounted on the frame, and one of which is attached to a counterweight located beneath the frame. The weight is carried on one end of a pivotal treadle, the opposite end of which is adapted to be manipulated by the foot of an operator standing in front of the frame. Normally the weight is in a lowered position in which it causes the cable to retain the screen in an elevated position, but when the foot treadle is depressed, the weight is lifted and the screen and its support drop by gravity to their lowered positions. The front ends of two of the frames may be secured in confronting relation so that the cantilevered screen can be replaced by a wider screen, opposite side edges of which are supported on the spaced screen supports of the two frames. Furthermore, the supports of two spaced pairs of such confronting frames can be interconnected by a pair of elongate, spaced, parallel rails, which are adapted to support therebetween an elongate, horizontally disposed screen. After work has been printed by such a screen, a heater carriage is disposed to be rolled on the rails over the printed work, and to direct heat onto the surface of the work to dry its inks or dyes.

摘要： A coded property identification system, typically including a stencil and stencil kit, for the marking of personal property with owner identification symbols, to deter theft and also to identify the rightful owner of stolen personal property which has been recovered by law enforcement authorities. The stencil is an elongated flat strip of material such as plastic, which is apertured with a series of openings arranged generally in a line. Each of the openings corresponds to a recognizable symbol such as a number or a letter. In the system, the combination of the symbols for any given stencil is a unique permutation, so that identification of the owner of the personal property may be readily ascertained, once the stencil has been used to etchably or otherwise permanently mark the personal property. The owner of the personal property is ascertained by reference to a particular and specific master code. The correct master code is determined by having at least one of the symbols constitute a master symbol(s) at a predetermined position in the permutation, which position and symbol(s) is common to all the stencils, so that this symbol(s) identifies a particular master code containing the owner's identification keyed to the permutation of the stencil.
