摘要： The method of making a paper clip to secure a plurality of sheets of paper together which are located in a stacked relationship. The paper clip produced by the method of this invention comprises a rigid sheet material metallic or composite body which is bendable and when bent, remains in the bent position. The method includes placing the overall configuration of the paper clip on the exterior planar surface of a thin sheet of metal or composite with the configuration of the paper clip including a pair of spaced-apart, normally triangularly shaped wings. Severing the exterior edges of the wings from the sheet of metal. Partially deflecting of the wings from the sheet of metal to a canted position relative to the sheet of metal and with the further possibility of deflecting of the wings by forcing the wings to a side by side relationship with the remaining body of the paper clip. Severing the remaining exterior edge of the paper clip and removing of the paper clip from the sheet of metal.

摘要： Improved paper clip is formed from a single piece of spring-quality metal wire to have an elongated U-shaped inner loop nested within an elongated U-shaped outer loop. Each loop includes a free leg and a connector leg; the longitudinally-extending leg portions of the free leg and connector leg of each respective loop are of substantially the same length. The U-shaped loops are joined together by an arcuately-curved interconnector extending between the connector leg of each loop. Distal ends of the free leg of each loop are located contiguous to such arcuately-curved interconnector which defines one longitudinal end of the paper clip; with such new configurational and other features, damage to outer surfaces of stacked paper by such distal ends is avoided and clasping force is applied along substantially the full length of such free legs during use of the improved clip.

摘要： A paper clip is made of resilient sheet-steel which is bent into U-shaped structure. Two holes are punched on the upper portion of the U-shaped sheet-steel to define therewith a ridge portion which can be pressed to recess or bent to project over the level surface of the upper portion thereof so as to open the clip for the insertion therein of sheets of paper or close the clip to clamp sheets of paper. Corrugated portions are transversely and longitudinally formed on the upper portion and the lower portion of the clip respectively to reinforce its clamping effect.

摘要： A clamping device which has clamping units including a pair of openable arms extending in a V-shape toward one side of a pivotal center and in a X-shape toward both sides thereof, and a pair of retainers projecting from the ends of each of the arms a predetermined length toward the end, and a clamping means slidably engaged with parts of the arms of said clamping units for adjusting and holding the amount of closing of the arms in response to the thickness of an article to be clamped. The article is clamped and held by the force of restoration produced by the deformation of the clamping units occurring when the article is inserted between the pair of retainers and the pair of arms are closed.

The clip is configured into four sections that are delineated by three bends. A first clip structure is defined by a first section, a first bend and a second section. Likewise, a second clip structure is defined by a second section, a second bend and a third section. The second clip structure is capable of receiving and retaining a portion of a different piece of cardstock. The clip can be supported or interconnected to other clips by a detachable tubular element, such as a straw.
