    摘要: A crawler carrier capable of smoothly operating a driving force source even at a slant. The driving force source is arranged between a dump body and a cab and laid in a lateral direction and at the same time the driving force source and a heat exchanger are arranged in series in a lateral direction. With such an arrangement as above, the driving force source can be arranged at an upper structure frame under a state in which it becomes substantially horizontal without interfering with the dump body. Even when the crawler carrier performs work at a slant the engine can always be lubricated with lubricant oil and the driving force source can be operated smoothly.

    摘要: To suppress vibrations of a power unit which is vertically swingably supported to a vehicle body, thereby suppressing the generation of noise. A vehicle power unit includes an internal combustion engine having a cylinder portion with axis L which is inclined down to the rear side from a vertical direction, and a power transmitting device for transmitting power of the engine to a rear wheel WR. The power unit is supported at a front pivot portion and a rear pivot portion to a vehicle body so as to be vertically swingable about the front pivot portion. A crankshaft and an axle of the rear wheel are located below a plane containing the axes of the front pivot portion and the rear pivot portion. The plane and the cylinder portion intersect each other between the front pivot portion and the rear pivot portion as viewed in side elevation.

    摘要: To cool a power drive unit for controlling the operation of a motor-generator connected to an engine and function as either a motor or a generator, an electric power drive unit-accommodating chamber is defined outside a side frame disposed on a side of an engine room with the engine accommodated therein in a widthwise direction of a vehicle, and is separated from the engine room. The electric power drive unit is accommodated in the power drive unit-accommodating chamber. A cooling device is integrally provided on the electric power drive unit to use cooling water to perform heat exchange with travel wind, and a heat shield plate is mounted between the engine room and the electric power drive unit-accommodating chamber.
