摘要: A footrest assembly (15) comprises a footrest (17) and a clip (18). The clip (18) has a shank (27) to be inserted into and fixed to a hollow tubular support (22, 23) extending from a rear surface (21) of a step of the footrest (17), and a resilient engagement pawl (29), which serves as a vehicle body panel fixing portion, formed in a shank portion from protruded from the end of the support. A protrusion (33) for defining the height of the footrest is provided at the intermediate region of the side surface of the shank (27) of the clip (18), and is arranged to engage with an end face of a notch (26) formed at the end of the support so as to prevent the shank from being further inserted. The protrusion (33) is formed at the side surface of the shank of predetermined strength which allows the protrusion to be shorn by the end of the support when a vehicle collision of a predetermined impact force causes the shank to be pressed to the support of the footrest. In the above manner, even if the vehicle body panel is deformed toward the step of the footrest, the thrust directed to the foot of a car driver or occupant in the step will be minimal.

摘要: A toddler tricycle folding footboard structure consisting of a shaft hole formed through the lateral surfaces of a connective tube positioned between the rear and front brace of a toddler tricycle frame that is aligned with the shaft holes in the vertical extremities of a pair of L-shaped bracket members, a bolt inserted through the shaft holes, and a nut fastened onto it to effect a tight conjoinment, following which the pair of L-shaped bracket members remain movable at the shaft hole in the lateral surfaces of the connective tube. The horizontal extremities at the bottom aspects of the L-shaped bracket members facing outward from the two sides of the connective tube are then conjoined to a footboard such that they become a unitary structural entity, with the bolt functioning as an axle that enables free swinging for folding and unfolding to reduce space occupancy and facilitate utilization convenience.

摘要: A tread rod is fastened with a bicycle front fork by a fastening bolt and a nut.The fastening bolt has a threaded shank and a head.The nut is of a hexagonal construction and is provided with an inner threaded hole engageable with the threaded shank of the fastening bolt. The nut is securely located in a hexagonal hole of the inner end of a connection tube which is fastened with the bicycle front fork. The tread rod is fastened with the outer end of the connection tube by the fastening bolt such that the threaded shank of the fastening bolt is engaged with the inner threaded hole of the nut via a center hole of the fastening end of the tread rod and an axial through hole of the connection tube.

摘要: A motorcycle foot peg is constructed to absorb shocks and impacts that would otherwise be transmitted to a rider's foot during hard landings of a motorcycle. The impact and shock absorbing motorcycle foot peg has particular applicability to off-road motorcycles. The foot peg has a rigid mounting platform including a mounting plate from which a rigid foot support projects outwardly in cantilevered fashion. The foot support has a flat upper bearing surface and supports a foot pad formed of a resiliently compressible elastomeric material having a Shore A hardness of between about 30 and 60. A foot contact plate is located atop the elastomeric slab. The foot contact plate, the elastomeric slab, and foot support are connected together by bolts passing therethrough. The foot contact plate thereby resides in a floating relationship relative to the foot support and can move both toward the foot support and laterally relative to the foot support to cushion the rider's foot against shocks and impacts. Spacer washers may be provided about the shanks of the bolts to adjust a preload compression on the resilient pad.

摘要: Motorcycle footrest brackets are described and that are adapted to be secured on opposite sides of a motorcycle having a frame and passenger footrest mounting holes on opposed sides of the frame. Each of the brackets includes a rigid base plate including a bottom end and an upward end. A bolt is mountable to each base plate at the bottom end and is configured for attachment to one of the passenger footrest mounting holes on the motorcycle. A pin on each of the base plates extends to an inward end and is positioned on the base plate and configured to abut with a portion of the motorcycle frame to prevent rotation of the base plate about the bolt. A footrest mount on each rigid base plate adjacent its upward end is configured to mount a conventional motorcycle footrest.

摘要: A vehicle footrest preferably for a motorcycle provides both an upwardly angled flat surface for comfortably supporting the rider's feet while alternately providing a folding footpeg at approximately the same level as the floorboard. The folding footpeg extends laterally from a concavity along the outside edge of the front of the floorboard. When extended, the footpeg lies approximately in the plane of the floorboard which permits the footpeg to be used as a toerest as well as a full foot support. The combination of structures provides a variety of foot positions while maintaining the feet in safe proximity to the foot controls. The footrest allows the rider to quickly shift the position of his feet from floorboard to footpeg and back again with only a small amount of foot movement.
