    摘要: A bi-directional egress hatch for a passenger aircraft may allow passengers to rapidly and safely exit an overhead cabin of the aircraft onto the main deck, while allowing cabin crew to safely ascend into the overhead cabin if need be. Hatch panels may blend in with overhead bin doors and ceiling panels of the main cabin; the inner portions of the hatch panels (facing the overhead cabin) may include anti-skid portions and graspable handles for descending passengers. The hatch may be easily activated by a passenger with a single motion (or remotely activated, or autodeployed). Once activated, the hatch panels may swing open and a telescoping ladder may deploy from the inner portion to the main deck, remaining rigid once reaching the floor. Similarly, any barriers protecting the ladder from passengers in the overhead cabin may be released, granting access to the telescoping ladder.

    摘要: An emergency exit for a helicopter is described that comprises: a wall defining an opening; a removable part engaging the opening in a removable manner; and a seal interposed between the wall and the removable part. The seal is transformable between: a first configuration, in which it prevents removal of the removable part from the wall following application of a predetermined load on the removable part; and a second configuration, in which it allows removal of the removable part from the wall following application of the predetermined load on the removable part. The emergency exit comprises an insert interposed between the seal and the wall; at least one of the insert and the seal comprise at least one tooth engaging a recess with a shape corresponding to the tooth and defined by the other of the insert and said seal, when the seal keeps, in use, the removable part constrained to wall.

    摘要: An actuation device for opening an emergency exit flap of a cockpit door is provided. The actuation device comprises a support structure, at least two securing elements, an actuation element and a deflection mechanism. The support structure is configured so as to be fastened to the emergency exit flap. The securing elements are integrated into the support structure and are configured so as to fasten the actuation device, and thus the emergency exit flap, to the cockpit door. The actuation element is connected to the support structure. Therein, the deflection mechanism connects the securing elements to the actuation element in such a way that a force which is exerted on the actuation element is diverted in such a way that the securing elements are released from the cockpit door.
