Provided as a solution is a thermoplastic adhesive film comprising a resin composition (D) which contains a thermoplastic olefin elastomer resin (A), an acid-modified polypropylene resin (B) and a nucleating agent (C).

Paper stock forms the form and label face while liner stock covers the hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive. A dryer dries the paper stock so the combined paper stock and liner expand substantially the same amount when reaching moisture equilibrium with the environment and have a reduced tendency to curl.

    摘要: A label is applied to a cup by superimposing a foil tape on a label tape that has a plurality of transverse breaking lines. The tapes are heated to "floatingly" connect the label tape to the foil tape and are then introduced into a deep-drawing apparatus so that the punch thereof may cyclically sever a single label and at the same time form a cup. If the breaking line is fed to the longitudinal axis of the deep-drawing apparatus, the label will be applied to two sides of the cup. If the label tape is fed so that the breaking line is approximately at the far edge of the deep-drawing apparatus then the label will be applied to only one side of the cup. The label tape may be longitudinally slit so that a plurality of cups may be simultaneously deep-drawn.

    摘要: The invention provides a heat-shrinkable film that has (1) a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 90-140° C.; (2) shrinkage of 12% or less in a main shrinkage direction when treated in glycerin at 80° C. for 10 seconds; (3) shrinkage of 12% or less in a direction orthogonal to the main shrinkage direction when treated in glycerin at 140° C. for 10 seconds; (4) shrinkage of 30%-80% in the main shrinkage direction when treated in glycerin at 140° C. for 10 seconds; (5) a tensile elongation at break of 10% or more both in the main shrinkage direction and the orthogonal direction after aging of 672 hours at 50° C. and 70% RH; and (6) a difference of 5% or less between shrinkage at 140° C. in the main shrinkage direction after aging of 672 hours at 50° C. and 70% RH, and shrinkage at 140° C. in the main shrinkage direction before the aging.

    摘要: A method for processing heat transfer labels for quality assurance purposes that may be provided in the form of a roll, with defective heat transfer labels remaining included within the roll instead of being removed. A marking system may be used during or after production of the heat transfer labels in order to distinguish acceptable heat transfer labels from defective heat transfer labels to prevent the latter from being used in the manufacture of garments or other goods. A sensor eye may be disposed on the heat bonder used in the production process to detect the marks and automatically advance the roll to the next acceptable heat transfer label.
