    摘要: A cookware lid has upper and lower holes provided on a recessed, sloping surface. The lower end of the recessed surface provides a reservoir to receive and drain liquid The upper holes allow steam and foam to escape a vessel, condense and run down the sloping surface into the reservoir and back into a vessel, avoiding boil over during cooking. The lid may also include a locking mechanism to attach to a vessel so as to further avoid boil over and also permit straining.

    摘要: A venting device for a drum. The venting device includes a body having a pair of opposing sides and defining a plurality of vent passages. The vent passages extend through the body and each an opening at each of the pair of opposing sides. The vent passages are spaced apart and arranged around a center portion of the body. A membrane structure is positioned so as to cover the openings of the vent passages on one of the pair of opposing sides of the body. The membrane structure is sealingly affixed to the body portion in an outer sealing band surrounding the openings of the vent passages. The membrane structure may be further affixed with one or more cross sealing bands extending across the membrane. A portion of the membrane structure may be further affixed to the center portion of the body. A protective structure may be attached to the body and positioned over the membrane structure.

    摘要: There is described a neck structure in combination with a closure. The neck structure defines a neck opening with a cylindrical sealing surface surrounding the neck opening and an external neck surface. The closure comprises a cap formed of resilient material having a top and a downwardly extending skirt portion depending from the top. An annular plug depends from an underside of the top and one or more ribs are formed on an internal surface of the downwardly extending skirt portion. The annular plug and the one or more ribs are arranged concentrically and are dimensioned such that, upon application of the cap to the neck structure, the annular plug projects into the neck opening and engages the cylindrical sealing surface. At the same time the one or more ribs engage the external neck surface. The annular plug is adapted to flex away from the cylindrical sealing surface upon the build up of excess pressure within the closure whereupon circumferentially spaced ends of the or each rib define therebetween a path for the venting of fluid to release the excess pressure. There is also described a closure for use with a neck structure.

    摘要: A fuel cap 10 maintains high sealing even when subjected to external force; is easy to operate; and requires minimal space for accommodation. The cap device comprises a casing body 20 for closing the filler opening FNb in a sealed condition, a cover 40, a handle 45, a clutch mechanism 60 and a torque transmission mechanism 80. By upraising the handle to the handling position and applying rotational torque, rotational torque is transmitted to the casing body 20 via the clutch mechanism 60 and the torque transmission mechanism 80, closing the filler opening FNb. The handle 45 lowers back to the retracted position when released, whereupon the clutch mechanism 60 assumes non-transmission mode wherein the cover 40 and the handle 45 rotate freely if subjected to external force such as in a collision.
