摘要： Pressure relief blow out plugs for a container are disclosed as well as methods of using the same. One disclosed method involves providing a glass container that comprises a base and a body extending away from the base. The base includes a wall that defines a pressure relief passage. The method also involves inserting a pressure relief blow out into the pressure relief passage to seal the passage. The plug comprises a first inboard flange extending radially outwardly from the plug body, a stem, and a second inboard flange extending radially outwardly from the plug body and being spaced apart from the first inboard flange by a stem. The first inboard flange includes a first outboard sealing surface that provides an axial seal against the wall of the base of the glass container, and the second inboard flange including a circumferentially interrupted outboard facing retention portion the defines vent gaps.

摘要： A liquid fuel storage and transport container has a permanently attached pour spout, a refill component with an inside diameter of at least 0.8 inch which may be either permanently attached or removably attached, a hinged door covering the refill component, and at least one carry handle. Since the pour spout isn't removed each time the container is filled back up, it avoids developing leaks that occur when pouring fuel into a vehicle fuel tank.

摘要： A container system that includes a container element with a hole or series of holes that are sealed by at least one seal assembly with at least one seal element. When the container system is placed into material to be captured, the seal element of the seal assembly is displaced from the holes when material exerts inward pressure on the seals, allowing the container system to self-fill with material. Once the desired amount of material is captured, the container system is removed and captured material exerts outward pressure on the seal assembly, causing the seal element to close the holes and the container system to self-seal.
