摘要： A basket-style article carrier for carrying nonbreakable articles. A divider strap is connected to and extends between opposite side panels. The strap is connected to the side panels by a glue flap at each end, one of which is connected by fold line to the upper edge of the associated side panel. The strap causes the carrier to resist bowing when an article is removed, thereby preventing excessive sagging which otherwise tends to allow the remaining articles in the carrier to fall out.

摘要： A snap lock, top opening package for powdered or granular products. The package includes a liner disposed within the interior compartment of the container. The liner has a front panel and two opposing side panels connected to the front panel, wherein the front and side panels are contiguous with the front and side walls of the container. The liner has a top edge which extends above the portions of the front and side walls below the tear-strip. The front panel has a locking flap extending across its top edge along a fold line. The locking flap extends outwardly from the package when the lid is opened and cooperates with a securing tab on the lid when the lid is closed. The securing tab extends along the interior of the front portion of the lid, wherein the locking flap and securing tab form a snap lock for the lid of the package. The liner further includes two back panel flaps extending partially, but fully, across the back wall of the container, so that when the container is filled with product, bulging of the front panel is substantially reduced due to the reduced liner along the back wall.

摘要： The invention describes a liquids package includes a tube formed by a longitudinal sealing seam and a bottom. A cover, which consists of thermoplastics synthetic material with no carrier mateial, is molded onto the tube and comprises a pourer device. The tube consists of coated cardboard. The bottom is tetragonal and is constructed from the folded-over tube as a folded-over closure. A handle connected to the cover is mounted laterally on the tube and below the cover. To allow the end user ease of handling and so that the package can be space-savingly stored and transported, while ensuring that the package can be produced from a flat strip of cardboard, while forming a quadrilateral outer contour of the package, the outside dimensions of the bottom are equal to the tetragonal cross-sectional dimensions of the package from the bottom to the cover. The handle together with the cover is injection molded on within the quadrilateral outer contours of the package.

摘要： A preformed foldable blank made of pliable sheet material, e.g., polyethylene coated boxboard, made use of in forming a bail-like handle that is attached to a gabled top carton for packaging various products. The blank includes a plurality of panels formed by various predetermined fold lines. Folding the blank in a predetermined sequence along the fold lines provides a retracted handle which is fixedly attached to the crown of the carton by staples. The handle remains retracted while the carton is processed through the normally automatic casing and filling sequence, while stored and while being transported before use. The user, e.g., retail customer, expands or opens the handle at the time of purchase for the purpose of conveniently carrying the carton. Breakaway tabs provide reinforcement of the attachment means of the handle to the carton and hold the handle in its retracted form prior to use. The breakaway tabs are separated from the remaining structure by the user prior to expanding the handle.
