Abstract:
A robotic-based system and method for transposing glass sheets of mixed sizes, including jumbo-sized sheets, from or onto a conveyor onto or from unloading platforms positioned on either side of the conveyor. The system comprises two parallel bridges extending across and above the conveyor and a pair of industrial robots movably mounted each on one of said two bridges for allowing traverse movement of the robots along the bridges such that the robots are having equal reach to both sides of the conveyor. The robots may be operated either in a full synchronized mode for handling sheets too large or to heavy to be handled by a single robot or in an individual operation mode where each robot handles a single sheet.
Abstract:
A pin support assembly includes a pin support frame having a plurality of apertures for supporting an array of pins for dispensing fluids. The pins are supported for longitudinal or nullfloatingnull movement to prevent damage to the pins. An actuation assembly engages an end of each of the pins to ensure that the pins are properly seated in the support frame in a planar fashion. The actuation assembly engages the pins as the pins move relatively toward a head block and disengages the pins as the pins move relatively away from the head block.
Abstract:
A device for stacking empty transport pallets and removing empty transport pallets from a stack has a pallet receptacle with a first leg and a second leg positioned at a right angle to the first leg. The pallet receptacle is configured to receive a pallet stack of pallets, wherein the pallets are supported with a narrow side on the first leg while the lowermost pallet of the pallet stack rests flat on the second leg. A pivoting device is provided to pivot the pallet receptacle between a first end position, in which the first leg extends at a slant to the horizontal, and a second end position, in which the first leg extends substantially vertically.
