    摘要: Methods and systems for controlling elevator systems are provided. The methods include receiving inputs from at least one interactive input device, wherein the inputs include elevator call requests, tracking one or more people located within a monitored area using at least one sensor, assigning elevator assignments to the one or more people based on at least one of the inputs from the at least one interactive input device and a grouping algorithm based on the tracking of the one or more people, and scheduling operation of at least one elevator car based on the elevator assignments.

    摘要: An elevator safety system includes an elevator control unit configured to: monitor an elevator shaft, receive a position, a movement direction, and a speed of at least one elevator car arranged into the elevator shaft, and determine dynamically at least one authorized shaft section based on the monitoring, and on the position, the movement direction, and the speed of at least one elevator car, and to provide an authorization to the at least one elevator car to move, such as by a linear motor, in or into the authorized shaft section of the elevator shaft. The elevator safety system further includes at least one elevator car controller configured to: provide the position, the movement direction, and the speed of the at least one elevator car to the elevator control unit, and receive the authorization. The elevator control unit and the elevator car controller are arranged to be in communication with each other.

    摘要: The invention relates to an a drive machinery for an elevator, the drive machinery comprising a rotatable drive sheave for driving plurality of ropes of the elevator, the drive sheave comprising a central cylinder, which comprises a central axis around which the central cylinder is rotatable; plurality of circular rim members surrounding the central cylinder, each said rim member comprising an outer rim surface for engaging a rope. Said plurality of circular rim members includes one or more rotatably mounted circular rim members, each said rotatably mounted circular rim member being mounted on the central cylinder rotatably around said central axis relative to the central cylinder and relative to one or more of the other circular rim members, and in that said drive sheave moreover comprises a control means for controlling rotation of each said rotatably mounted circular rim member relative to the central cylinder and relative to one or more of the other circular rim members. The invention also relates to an elevator implementing the drive machinery.
