The crane can also include a first fluid regulating device coupled to the jib portion for regulating a fluid to the jib portion and to the multi-function attachment unit and a second fluid regulating device coupled to the boom portion for regulating a fluid to the winch element and to the multi-function attachment unit.

摘要： A heel boom construction for a log-handling apparatus, the construction comprising a hollow boom section and an arm telescopically mounted in the boom section and having a grapple at the outer end for the handling of logs. A heel bar provided at one end with a heel member applicable against the logs to be handled is mounted at the other end to the outer end of the arm for pivotal movement about an axis transverse to the longitudinal axis of the arm. A bracket fixed at the outer end of the boom section has a bearing and guiding block mounted thereon for pivotal movement about an axis transverse to the axis of the boom section. The heel slidably extends through the bearing and guiding block.

摘要： Apparatus for manipulating a longitudinally extensive member comprises a main body portion, ground contacting assemblies on which said main body portion is mounted, said ground contact assemblies being operable to convey the apparatus over a ground surface, a trench cutting device, and a mounting arm depending directly or indirectly from said main body portion and having a proximal end arranged proximate said main body portion and a distal end arranged distal from said main body portion, said distal end being operatively laterally movable with respect to the main body portion between a first limit position towards a first side of the apparatus and a second limit position towards an opposite second side of the apparatus. The mounting arm is provided with a lifting device configured to lift, and/or support assembly configured to support, said longitudinally extensive member, proximate said distal end thereof. Detection apparatus may also be provided at or near the distal end, for determining the position of said longitudinally extensive member. A corresponding de-mounting arm may be provided at a side of the main body opposite the mounting arm.

摘要： The present invention contemplates a tree remover which is mounted at the front of an agricultural vehicle, which has a front plate with side walls. Extending forwards is a boom which is pivoted to the side walls. At the forward end of the boom is a fork assembly having upper and lower jaws and teeth. Associated with the boom and fork assembly are three jacks. A first jack affixed to the front plate raises and lowers the boom. The second jack, disposed for cylinder and piston movement parallel to the boom, is attached at the front end thereof to a jaw plate which holds the lower jaw, and moves the fork assembly. The third jack moves the upper teeth with relationship to the lower teeth. The device is particularly useful in a citrus grove to dig the lower teeth under the roots of a tree and lift the tree vertically out of the ground, roots and all. The device can later be used to clear debris out of the grove paths with the tong-like operation of the fork assembly.

摘要： The lower end of the dipper stick of a crane has spaced plates with L-shaped engaging edges forming a female pressure member which coacts with a male pressure plate in the upper end of an implement such as a clamshell bucket. A short flexible connector is connected at its lower end to the male pressure plate and has its upper end within the space between the two plates of the female pressure member, there being means within the cavity at the lower end of the dipper stick for releasably taking up slack in the flexible connector to provide a desired amount of snugness or looseness in the connection between the bucket and the dipper stick, with, however, the male and female pressure members always being engaged in a manner which will prevent rotating movement or undesired swinging of the implement relative to the dipper stick. A guide roller in the female pressure member coacts with one of the connector links to allow the bucket to be snugged up in most positions.
