摘要: The invention relates to an agricultural device for semi-automatic movement of a holding tool, for holding an object, between two positions, said two positions being at different heights. The device comprises said holding tool for holding the object, load sensing means for determining if the holding tool holds an object, driving means (9) for moving the holding tool up and down, a control unit for controlling the driving means, and a user interface for user input to the control unit. The device can be used in two modes of operations, wherein the holding tool in a first mode of operation is freely movably, and in a second mode of operation is semi-automatically movable between a plurality of determined positions (URP, UPP, LRP, LPP) depending on if the holding tool is holding an object or not, and which command is given to the user interface. The invention further relates to an agricultural vehicle comprising such an agricultural device, a method for an agricultural device, for such semi-automatic movement, and software for obtaining information related to driving means, said software being adapted to perform the method according to the invention.

摘要: A pipe lifter for carrying one or more pipes including a slidably extendable elongate member and two sets of two laterally extending arms on each side of the elongate member. Each set of the two laterally extending arms are opposed to each other. Each of the laterally extending arms is pivotally fixed to the elongate member and moveable between a folded position where the arm is adjacent and parallel with the elongate member and an operational position where the arm extends laterally substantially at ninety degrees with respect to the elongate member. There are two or more L-shaped support members attachable to the laterally extending arms. There is also a hydraulic or pneumatic ram operationally configured to extend and shorten the length of the elongate member. In use, the L-shaped support members attached to the opposing laterally extending arms are positioned to be substantially opposing each other and the length of the elongate member is adjusted so that the outwardly extending section of the L-shaped support pipe is locatable within each open end of the pipe to secure the pipe to the pipe lifter.

摘要: A device and method for adjusting the magnetic strength of a magnetic end effector for lift systems is described. The magnetic end effector is capable of lifting discriminate payloads by selectively varying the strength of the magnetic forces output by the magnetic end effector. An actuator can be operatively coupled to the variable strength magnet end effector, wherein the actuator is selectively actuatable to control the adjustment of the variable strength magnet. The actuator may also be configured to maintain the variable strength magnet at a desired magnetic force output strength once achieved for any given amount of time.

摘要: The present invention comprises a tractor tool that attaches to and detaches from a tractor frame easily. In one embodiment, as few as four bolts and two actuator control couplings are used to mount the inventive tool to a tractor. The inventive tractor attachment tool is capable of grasping and lifting a heavy or awkward object, moving it to a new location, and setting it down without the tractor operator leaving the tractor controls. The object may be simply or oddly shaped, and it may be moved to a location that requires it to be lifted over a barrier like a wall. Small trees, bushes, piles of vegetative matter, or fence posts can be pulled from the ground and moved to a rubble or debris bin for hauling. The tool is comprised of a metal frame having two jaw members that open and close in a scissor-like fashion. The jaw members are opened and closed by jaw actuators, controlled by the tractor operator sitting on the tractor. Using the inventive attachment, a tractor operator can grab an item lying in a field, lift it, rotate it, and deposit it in a bin that is located, for example, behind a wall without the operator having to leave the tractor cab.
