摘要： A saddle accessory apparatus is comprised of at least one panel of fabric material having a saddle seat covering portion shaped and sized to cover a saddle seat when mounted thereupon, and first and second flap portions, each extending from opposing sides of the seat covering portion and sized and shaped to cover the stirrup leathers of an English-style saddle, and all or substantially all of the fenders of a Western-style saddle. The apparatus protects the rider's bare legs when riding in shorts. Another embodiment of the apparatus includes riding implement retention means for retention of crops, bats, rods and the like and preventing them from falling to the ground if accidentally dropped.

The equine weight training system generally includes a saddle tree to be positioned upon a back of a horse and a harness device including a plurality of straps to loop over and attach to the saddle tree and around the horse, wherein the plurality of straps extend outwardly from the harness device. A plurality of pouches extend from the harness device, wherein a plurality of weighted objects are removably positioned within the plurality of pouches. The plurality of weighted objects are inserted and removed from the plurality of pouches to accustom a horse to weight positioned upon a back of a horse.

摘要： An apparatus (10) for preventing theft of riding saddles (12) includes a one-piece, rigid lock device (34) and a padlock (36). The lock device (34) is formed by a finished steel rod having one end bent into a circular shape to form a ring (40) having an extension (42) integrally secured and extending therefrom. The ring (40) is of a size for placement around the saddle horn (16) and for abutment with the saddle body (14). The extension (42) extends through the opening (20) in the saddle body (14) when the ring (40) is received on the saddle horn (16) and adjacent to a bar (28) of a saddle rack (22). A series of apertures (44) are formed in the extension (42) for slideable receipt of the legs of the clasp (38) of the padlock (36). Additionally, the clasp (38) of the padlock (36) extends around the bar (28) of the saddle rack (22) to anchor the lock device (34) to the saddle rack (22). Thus, the anti-theft apparatus (10) of the present invention locks the saddle (12) to the saddle rack (22) to deter theft of the saddle (12).

摘要： A saddle pack including an elongated support web with a pannier-like side housing mounted at each end. The web includes a curvilinear cut-out along one edge of a center segment of the web, the curvilinear cut-out being specifically configured to conform to the cantle base of a saddle. Each of the side housings include an open top compartment and a cover for the compartment, the cover being adapted to securely enclose the compartment. An overflap is also included and substantially encloses the cover, the cover thereby providing a shelf or floor for a subcompartment formed on top of the compartment between the cover and the overflap. The side housings may also include end pockets mounted to the ends of the side housings. The web also includes at least one pouch formed therein, the pouch being foldable to provide a generally flat configuration or expandable to receive bulky items therein. The web may be foreshortened to adapt the saddle pack for placement on a motorbicycle, or the like, with a relatively narrow support such as a cross arm or seat.
