摘要: An in-mold decorating and laser etching method prints a plurality of layers on a flat thin sheet plastic substrate, including combinations of opaque and colored, including translucent and smoked, forms the substrate into a contoured three dimensional workpiece, injection molds the workpiece to an injection molded part, and laser etches a designated graphic in the opaque layer on the part.

摘要: A process for the electrochemical realkalization of reinforced concrete comprises passing a direct electric current between an anode associated with a layer of alkaline electrolyte applied to an external surface of the concrete and a cathode which is located internally in the concrete. The process causes the internal pH of the concrete to increase and a surface layer of the concrete to be impregnated with the electrolyte solution and which comprises a solution of potassium carbonate of concentration at least 0.3 Molar. The process may be applied to concrete a zone of which has a pH of less than 10.0 and the process continued until the pH reaches a level of at least 10.5, preferably at least 11.0.

摘要: Disclosed are a coated concrete substrate and a process for coating the substrate. The process includes applying a colored polymer-enhanced grout coating and allowing it to cure. A template without adhesive backing is applied over the coating layer. The template is removed after the coating layer is cured. A primer is applied over the coating layer, for providing good cohesive and adhesive properties. A sealer is applied over the cured primer layer, for providing chemical resistance and UV protection. The resulted coated concrete surface is decorative, durable, resilient, stain, chemical resisting, UV protecting, and has the appearance of brick or ceramic tile.

摘要: A method of electrochemical treatment of prestressed concrete which comprises supplying a direct current between a steel embedded in the prestressed concrete as a cathode and an anode on the surface or inside of the concrete at a voltage higher than the hydrogen evolution potential, wherein an effective tensile force acting on the PC steel tendon embedded in the concrete is not greater than 80 % of the tensile strength of the PC steel tendon, and a method of electrochemical treatment of prestressed concrete which comprises supplying a direct current between a steel tendon embedded in the prestressed concrete as a cathode and an anode on the surface or inside of the concrete at a voltage higher than the hydrogen evolution potential, wherein the voltage is adjusted to less than the hydrogen evolution potential at least once during electrochemical treatment.
