    Abstract: Device and method for treatment of a warp thread sheet and take-off frame for treatment of a warp thread sheet. The device includes a take-off frame including at least one warp beam and first and second outlets, a treatment device arranged after the take-off frame, and a warp thread pick-up device. Threads drawn off from the warp beam that are arranged next to one another transversely to their longitudinal direction are guided to the first outlet, and threads drawn off from the warp beam combined to form of a rope are guided to the second outlet.

    Abstract: A combined support and drive assembly and method for winding loom beams with warp threads in uniform fashion. The drive includes a pair of dogs which engage ears on the loom beam and which equalize the driving pressure between them so that a purely torsional force is imparted to the loom beam. The drive assembly also includes a guide which positively locates the driven end of the loom beam so as to assure symmetrical engagement between the dogs and the loom beam ears.

    Abstract: A textile beam includes a substantially cylindrical tube having internal threads at the opposite ends thereof. A pair of heads are each provided with hubs having external threads thereon which are threaded within opposite ends of the tube. The threads on the tube and heads include opposite flanks extending at oblique angles to the longitudinal axis of the tube. Abutting surfaces are formed on the ends of the tube and each of the heads. These abutting surfaces are preloaded in an axial direction parallel with the longitudinal axis of the tube and extend parallel with or are an extension of a line from the joint between the abutting surfaces and the center of deflection of the associated head. Each end of the tube is beveled, and the abutting surface formed on each of the heads joins with an annular surface of arcuate cross-sectional configuration.
