摘要: A holding device can holding implements for a knitting machines such as needles or guides. A needle (or guide) head (2) is held detachably on a carrier (9) by means of plug-type connections and a locking device. The needle head (2) is connected in one piece with a shank (3), which is flat and has a lateral recess (16) near its end. A holder (4) is arranged on the carrier (9). Following a guide section (19) matched to the shank cross section, the holder has a sprung catch (15) movable in the shank plane perpendicular to the shank axis. This catch can engage the recess (16) under pretension. More particularly, the holder (4) has between two external cover plates(6, 7), a middle plate (5) having free punchings forming the guide section (19) and the spring tongue (14). In this way the needle heads can be easily replaced individually.

摘要: In knitting parts of a knitting machine(a guide, needle tongue and the like of a warp knitting machine), an anti-corrosion layer 12 formed by wet plating, an intermediate layer 14 formed by dry plating and a hard carbon film 16 formed by dry plating are successively laminated on and applied to, at least, a surface of that portion of a carbon steel base material 10 shaped to profile the knitting parts, which portion contacts with knitting yarn, and the anti-corrosion layer 12 formed by wet plating is applied to a surface other than the portion. So, the anti-corrosion layer prevents rust and corrosion which would otherwise be developed on a surface of the carbon steel base material 10, and the hard carbon film is firmly and adhesively applied, at least, to the surface of the portion contacting with the knitting yarn with the intermediate layer therebetwen, so that the thickness of the entire film is made small to provide an adequate wear resistance without impairing toughness of the base material, thereby markedly improving the durability.

摘要: A needle bed (2) in accordance with the invention for a knitting machine comprises guide channels for knitting tools that are interrupted, in particular, in the region of the knitting lock, so that each needle is only guided laterally in the region of its foot. Preferably, the needle bed is designed in a segmented manner, in which case the segments adjoin each other at a joint that extends in a direction transverse to all the guide channels. In so doing, the separating joint is located between the lock paths (15, 16; 16, 17; 17, 18 and 18, 19). The guide strips of the individual base body sections (5, 6, 7), respectively, are arranged offset with respect to each other by one needle division. Preferably, the needle body sections (5, 6, 7) have essentially the same configuration and are non-detachably connected to each other.

摘要: A needle bar is made from a support member and a carrier. The needle bar can be made with a plurality of needle grooves. The bar is made by adhering the support member to the carrier. Then the support member is divided into a plurality of individual segments of predetermined length, after the support member is adhered to the carrier. Adjacent ones of the individual segments (a) can be spaced to form a gap narrower in width than the needle grooves, and (b) can have opposing edges shaped to form a concavity having a width equivalent to the needle grooves.

摘要: In one aspect, an upper for an article of footwear may include a knit element, a collar area configured to form an ankle opening, and a cuff in the collar area. The cuff may be at least partially formed by the knit element and may include a ribbed knit structure of the knit element. In another aspect, an upper for an article of footwear may include a knit element with a first area, the first area including a first side and a second side opposite the first side. The first side may be formed of at least 30% more material than the second side such that the first area is configured to curve convexly away from the first side.
