    摘要: The present invention is an apparatus for and a method of framing fabrics in hoops comprising a board, a jig, grooves, apertures, and pins. The jig, while holding a hoop, is located off of one or more of the grooves and then held in position by pegs. The fabric to hooped is placed over the hoop and then constrained in the hoop by an inner hoop. The hoops with the fabric are then removed from the jig for the intended embroidery work. The board is also useful for positioning a fabric prior to assembly in a garment. The board is also applicable for positioning appliques.

    摘要: To aid in the proper placement of patterns to be sewn on work fabric, a sewing machine includes a pattern projection system for forming pattern images on the fabric. The pattern images are of the same size and orientation as the pattern sewn by the machine. The image projection system includes a light source and a light transmission imaging element for forming images on the fabric. The imaging element can be liquid crystal. The image forming system displays a marker to indicate that portions of the pattern to be sewn are outside a predetermined image area. A memory is provided to store pattern completion data, so that after an interruption in the sewing of a pattern, the unfinished part of the pattern can be imaged on the fabric and the machine can complete the pattern.

    摘要: An embroidery frame includes a mounting portion to be mounted on a sewing machine and a frame portion. The frame portion has a first frame, a hinge portion, a second frame, a first clamping portion, and a second clamping portion. The first frame is connected to the mounting portion. The hinge portion is connected to one end of the first frame. The second frame is connected at one end to the hinge portion such that the second frame is able to rotate with respect to the first frame.
