摘要： An embroidery sewing machine calculates the number of designs to be used for sewing for a length that is closest to a desired sewing length, based on the desired sewing length and information regarding the designs. The embroidery sewing machine calculates the sewing length based on the calculated number of designs and the information regarding the designs. Furthermore, the embroidery sewing machine adjusts the length of each design such that the calculated sewing length matches the desired sewing length, and converts the adjusted data of the designs into embroidery data. This enables sewing such that the sewing start and end points match each other or junction matching is secured, even in a case of sewing in the form of various kinds of combinations of curves and lines or the like. In addition, this provides an embroidery sewing machine that is capable of executing sewing with an improved appearance.

摘要： The invention provides a magnifier for a sewing machine that is mounted on a sewing machine main body and magnifies a view of a front end of a needle which is mounted on a needle bar front end that moves vertically and a vicinity of a cloth presser.The magnifier includes: a supporting arm part A, at one end of which a lens holding part 2 having a holding unit 4 that detachably holds a lens is provided, and at the other end of which a mounting part 3 for mounting the magnifier on the sewing machine main body is provided; and a lens main body B that is constituted by connected part 6 which is detachable to the lens holding part 2, and a lens part 5 which is formed continuously to the connected part 6. To the lens holding part 2 of the supporting arm part A as well as the lens main body B, a turning control unit 7 is provided which controls a turning angle of the lens main body B in a predetermined range, and the turning control unit 7 controls a turning angle of the lens main body B that is mounted on the lens holding part 2, in a predetermined range.

摘要： In an embroidery machine according to the present invention, at least one of driving mechanisms required for embroidery sewing has a driving source independent of the other driving mechanisms, and a control device is provided to control the driving source and those of the other driving mechanisms to be synchronously driven. With this construction, as for the driving mechanism having the independent driving source, since an interlocking mechanism can be omitted, the construction can be simplified, so that vibrations or noises can be reduced. Further with a control signal from the control device, a timing of operation of the driving mechanism having the independent drive source can be freely determined according to the embroidery mode.

摘要： An embroidery and applique machine having a number of article feeding modules, each adapted to supply articles such as sequins which are to be appliqued in alignment with a needle. The feeder modules are mounted on a carriage for movement therewith. A motor moves the carriage back and forth along a fixed path relative to the needles. An indexing mechanism is effective for stopping the carriage at any one of a number of positions in which the feeder modules are in register with the needles for supplying articles in alignment with a particular needle. A number of carriages may be provided at positions relative to the needles. A lost motion flange on the carriage contacts abutments on the indexing mechanism and enables the feeder modules on the carriage to register with the needles irrespective of the direction of movement of the carriage on the path.
