摘要： Used laundry items are delivered unsorted to laundries. It has previously been usual to initially sort the laundry items after delivery and treat the sorted laundry items, at least by washing, drying, mangling and folding. The preliminary sorting is labor-intensive and time-consuming. The invention proposes to treat unsorted at least those laundry items which must be mangled. Only before folding are the still unsorted laundry items identified and folded in targeted fashion accordingly. After folding, the identified laundry items are sorted according to their identified criteria, in that folded laundry items with the same criteria are stacked on a respective stack of similarly treated and folded laundry items. This reduces the complexity of sorting laundry items.

摘要： The invention relates to a chest ironer, and belongs to the technical field of ironing machines. The chest ironer comprises an ironing chest set including arc-shaped ironing chests with upward arc-shaped openings. The ironing chest set includes at least one solid chest and at least one flexible chest, and bridge chests with downward arc-shaped openings are disposed between the ironing chests. The first ironing chest of the ironing chest set is a solid chest, the second ironing chest of the ironing chest set is a flexible chest, and the bridge chest between the first ironing chest and the second ironing chest is a first bridge chest. A horizontal steam chamber partition plate is fixedly arranged at the longitudinal middle position of an outer arc-shaped face plate of an inner chest plate of the solid chest in the horizontal direction, and at least one longitudinal steam chamber partition plate is arranged on the outer arc-shaped face plate of the inner chest plate in the longitudinal direction, so that the ironing chest is partitioned into at least four steam chambers. Each steam chamber is provided with an independent branched steam pipe communicated with a main steam pipe used for centralized supply of steam. The chest ironer is further provided with an adjustable pressurization system. The invention greatly improves the ironing effect under a limited steam pressure.

摘要： A spiral wrapping for an ironer roller for a chest ironer. Chest ironers have at least one rotatably drivable ironer roller, the lower half of which is surrounded by a stationary ironer bed. The ironer roller is surrounded by an outer spiral wrapping which comes into contact with the item of laundry to be treated. The spiral wrapping is provided with an outer layer produced from a coarse woven fabric which has a higher coefficient of friction. The coefficient of friction of the coarse woven fabric does not alter as the age of the spiral wrapping increases. This means that even in the case of older spiral wrappings, there is sufficient frictional engagement between the spiral wrapping, namely the outer layer, and the item of laundry to be smoothed out.

摘要： A resilient pad for resiliently supporting a felt cover on a rotatable drum of a flat sheet ironing machine, comprises a plurality of helically wound coil springs having an inner end adjacent to the drum and an outer end adjacent to the felt cover, a backing strip windable about the drum and a plurality of plate-like elements connected respectively to outer ends of the coil springs. The inner end of each coil spring is supported by the backing strip with the coil springs spaced apart along the longitudinal extent of the backing strip. Each coil spring has two helically wound portions joined at the outer end of the spring by a transverse portion which is connected to a respective plate-like element, by crimping lugs on the element to the transverse portion or by welding, and each plate-like element has one or more claws on its outer surface for making catching contact with the felt cover to ensure that, in use, the felt cover rotates with the drum.
