摘要: A method for dilution for a pressure screen comprising a rotor rotating inside a screen a distance to the screen, includes supplying feeding stock into a screening zone formed in the spacing between the rotor and the screen with some of the feeding stock passing through the screen into an accept area to become accept, and the remaining feeding stock discharged into a reject area as reject flow. The amount of the dilution water added into the reject flow is 0.8 to 3.5 times the amount of the reject flow by volume. Additionally, a pressure screen comprises a dilution water adding apparatus adapted to add dilution water directly into the reject area of the pressure screen, wherein the amount of the dilution water added into the reject flow is 0.8 to 3.5 times of the amount of the reject flow by volume.

A subunit has a mesh drum configured as a rotatable cylinder with mesh in at least part of its surface, and a case that houses the mesh drum. The case has a first opening and a second opening that communicate with a first area, and a third opening that communicates with a second area. First screened material is supplied from the first opening to the first area. The subunit discharges from the third opening waste, which is a first component of the first screened material moved by an air current from the first area to the second area, and discharges from the second opening by an air current processing feedstock, which is a second component of the first screened material that does not pass through the mesh drum with the air current and remains in the first area.

摘要: A screen and a method for screening pulp. The screen comprises a body, a screen cylinder arranged inside the body for screening the pulp, and an accept chamber and an accept aggregate connected with it for removing the accepted pulp fraction from the screen. The accept chamber is arranged between the screening surface of the screen cylinder and the screen body and it is arranged to expand in the radial direction of the screen cylinder outwards from the screen cylinder continuously in the longitudinal direction of the screen cylinder towards the line which is parallel to the radius of the screen cylinder and corresponds to the cross-section of the body and on which the accept aggregate is arranged.

摘要: A device for cleaning a suspension, preferably a fibrous suspension for paper production. The device includes a screen basket, on the exterior surface of which the suspension to be cleaned is supplied and from the interior surface of which the screened accepted stock is released. A housing surrounds the screen basket. The housing includes an inflow for the suspension to be cleaned, an accepted-stock outlet for the cleaned suspension and a reject outlet for impurities. A scraping device rotates on the outside of the screen basket about the screen basket axis and has scraper blades (foils) which scrape along the exterior surface of the screen basket. The scraping device comprises a drum with a cylinder surrounding the screen basket. The cylinder carries a plurality of foils on its inside facing the screen basket.

摘要: A screen cylinder, screen, method of manufacture of the screen cylinder, and method of use of the screen cylinder, allow screen capacity to be maximized without sacrificing screen cylinder strength, and while achieving a clean accepts flow. A screen cylinder is constructed in a conventional manner except that at least one reinforcing ring is permanently fastened (typically by continuous or spot laser or electric beam welding, or direct resistance welding) to at least a majority of (and typically essentially all of) the land areas which separate grooves in a row from each other, at the outlet surface of the cylinder. The welds each typically have a width of about 1 to 3 mm (that is they are very small), but that width is typically at least about 75% of the width of a land area in which it is formed, and the weld has a length of at least about 50% of the width of the reinforcing ring at the weld. In this way effective slot length of screen cylinders may be about 65-90% of the total screen length, compared to only about 45-55% for conventional screen cylinders. The screen cylinders are particularly effective in screening cellulose pulps from the pulp and paper industry.

摘要: A hydrodynamic device for generating negative pressure excursions in a pulp slurry during fine screening, includes a plurality of half-foil members disposed on a substantially cylindrical outer surface of a rotor. The rotor is mounted within and co-axial with a substantially cylindrical screen having a circumferentially continuous apertured zone to define an annular screening chamber between the rotor and the screen. The half-foil members are collectively at least axially co-extensive with the apertured zone and have a leading edge which, also collectively, is inclined at a spiral angle relative to the axis of the rotor such that during rotation, the collective leading edge of the half-foil members conduct large particles downwardly through the screening chamber. A selection of hydrodynamic foil configurations is provided in order to adapt to a wide range of pulp types and screening conditions.
