摘要： A machine for treating a ballast bed underneath a track comprises a machine frame extending in a longitudinal direction and supported on the track by undercarriages for movement in an operating direction, a suction unit mounted on the machine frame, the suction unit comprising a vertically and laterally adjustable suction pipe having a suction opening for aspirating ballast from the ballast bed, a conveyor band arranged on the machine frame to convey the aspirated ballast away from the suction unit, and a ballast discharge device mounted on the machine frame rearwardly of the suction pipe in the operating direction, the ballast discharge device comprising a hopper. A conveyor arrangement extends in the longitudinal direction on the machine frame and has an input end arranged to receive the aspirated ballast from the conveyor band and an output end arranged to discharge the aspirated ballast into the hopper. A track lifting unit is mounted on the machine frame between the suction opening and the ballast discharge device.

摘要： A method for the improvement and drainage of a railway track employs a train comprising a working frame-car to carry out the method whereby it is made possible to dismantle and reassemble the track together with its infrastructure. The old track spans are removed, ballast and earth are excavated from the track and replaced by a layer of sand and by new ballast which are distributed, levelled and compacted mechanically. All these operations are taking place in succession through and within the empty frame of said frame-car as the latter is stationary bridging the working site. Two travelling gantries are provided on the train and equipped both with a lifting device for a track span and a lifting and tipping device for buckets. The working car is also equipped with means for excavating, digging, levelling and compacting.

摘要： A track laying car has a rear undercarriage for moving the car in a working direction on the track rails and track-laying bogie for selective engagement with the ballast bed for moving the car on the ballast bed in the absence of a track for the rear undercarriage. An endless scraper conveyor chain is vertically adjustably mounted on the car and includes a transverse stringer arranged for engagement with the ballast bed for planing the ballast bed and conveying excess ballast from the planed bed, the stringer being arranged in front of the bogie. A tie conveyor is mounted on the car to convey ties in a direction opposite to the working direction to the planed ballast bed behind the bogie and to lay the conveyed ties sequentially on the planed ballast bed, and a ballast conveyor moves in a path arranged to enable the ballast conveyor to receive the excess ballast and to convey it in a direction opposite to the working direction to the rear end of the car where the ties have been laid on the planed ballast bed.

摘要： In a method for stabilizing an earth formation exposed after removal of a track and ballast, in a first working pass in a work section following a rear crawler track with regard to a working direction, parallel to the removal of the ballast the earth formation is loosened up, aggregates are introduced, and grading takes place. In a second working pass, the earth formation to which aggregates have been added is mixed thoroughly by getting picked up by means of a clearing chain and transported onward to a discharge point located behind the rear crawler track and discharged again upon the exposed earth formation, after which, by grading and consolidating the discharged earth formation, a rehabilitation layer is formed.

摘要： A method for sequentially exchanging selected consecutive groups of old ties for groups of new ties while retaining groups of old ties between the selected old ties in a railroad track consisting of two rails fastened to the ties supported on ballast, which method comprises advancing at least one elongated bridge-like work vehicle along the track, sequentially operating a succession of different individual devices mounted on the advancing work vehicle to remove rail fastening elements whereby the selected ties are detached from the rails, to remove tie plates positioned between the detached ties and the rails, to withdraw the detached ties laterally from the track, to scarify the ballast where the detached ties have been withdrawn whereby shaped recesses are formed in the ballast under the rails, to insert new ties in the shaped recesses, to place new tie plates between the new ties and the rails, to tamp ballast under the new ties, and to fasten the rails to the new ties. The different individual operating devices are intermittently displaced along the elongated work vehicle for effectuating the sequential operation thereof while the work vehicle advances.

A vertical pivot couples the two carrier frame parts together for pivotal movement in a plane parallel to the track and a device is provided for pivoting the two carrier frame parts in this plane and for fixing the same in selected positions.

摘要： A mobile track renewal train comprises a bridge-like elongated carrier frame supported on an old and a new track section on respective on-track undercarriages and bridging an intermediate trackless ballast bed section. A chain guide including a transversely extending guide section is mounted on the carrier frame and encloses a space, the chain guide rising from the transverse guide section adjacent the ballast bed on an upper portion, and an endless excavating chain is supported for movement in the chain guide to excavate ballast from the bed. The carrier frame also supports a tie laying device for laying new ties in a position extending transversely to the carrier frame and a conveyor for transporting the new ties in succession to the tie laying device, the tie laying device being positioned in the enclosed space and the conveyor having a path extending through the space towards the tie laying device.
