摘要： A machine for treating a ballast bed underneath a track comprises a machine frame extending in a longitudinal direction and supported on the track by undercarriages for movement in an operating direction, a suction unit mounted on the machine frame, the suction unit comprising a vertically and laterally adjustable suction pipe having a suction opening for aspirating ballast from the ballast bed, a conveyor band arranged on the machine frame to convey the aspirated ballast away from the suction unit, and a ballast discharge device mounted on the machine frame rearwardly of the suction pipe in the operating direction, the ballast discharge device comprising a hopper. A conveyor arrangement extends in the longitudinal direction on the machine frame and has an input end arranged to receive the aspirated ballast from the conveyor band and an output end arranged to discharge the aspirated ballast into the hopper. A track lifting unit is mounted on the machine frame between the suction opening and the ballast discharge device.

摘要： In combination with a mobile ballast cleaning machine advancing continuously in an operating direction along a railroad track, which comprises a ballast excavating chain including a transverse course extending under the track and driven to excavate a transversely extending portion of the ballast bed during the continuous advancement of the machine: a device connected to the machine for continuous advancement therewith and arranged to receive ballast deposited on the ballast bed and the track ties ahead of the transverse ballast excavating chain course and to discharge the received ballast in the transversely extending excavated ballast bed portion, the device comprising a ballast receiving and discharging element extending in the direction of the track, and a vertical adjustment drive arranged to lower the element onto the upper surfaces of the ties between the rails whereby the ballast deposited on the ballast bed and the track ties is separated from the underlying ballast bed and is received on the element during the continuous advancement of the machine and the element connected thereto, the ballast receiving and discharging element having a discharge end above the transverse ballast excavating chain course for discharging the received ballast in the excavated ballast bed portion immediately therebehind in the operating direction.

摘要： A continuously advancing machine for leveling, lining and tamping a track has a machine frame supported on undercarriages for continuous movement in an operating direction, a power plant and operating controls carried by the machine frame, and a tool carrier frame having a rear end supported on an undercarriage. A tamping tool assembly associated with each rail is mounted on the tool carrier frame immediately ahead of the undercarriage supporting the rear tool carrier frame end for tamping ballast in intermittent tamping cycles under the ties at points of intersection of the two rails and the ties. Each tamping tool assembly is vertically movably mounted on the tool carrier frame and includes two pairs of vibratory and reciprocatory tamping tools spaced from each other in the operating direction so that each pair of tools is in vertical alignment with a respective one of two successive cribs. A track lifting and lining unit is associated with the two rails mounted on the tool carrier frame ahead of the tamping tool assemblies and is arranged on the tool carrier frame between two undercarriages spaced in the direction of the track, and a longitudinally adjustable coupling pivotally connects the tool carrier frame to the machine frame for driving the tool carrier synchronously with the intermittent tamping cycles.

A conveyor conveys the waste away.

The system cross levels the level rail by comparing the elevation of the grade and level rails relative to the tamper frame and adjusting that comparison by any out-of-cross level of the frame sensed by the cross level sensor.

摘要： A mobile ballast cleaning machine comprises a frame running on two undercarriages a rear one of which is supported on a track section resting on cleaned ballast. A ballast excavating and conveying chain is mounted on the frame in front of this track section and a ballast screening mechanism on the frame receives the excavated ballast from the chain, cleans it and discharges the cleaned ballast to a storage receptacle arranged on the frame between the undercarriages. The storage receptacle has sufficient capacity to hold a volume of the cleaned ballast corresponding to that of the excavated ballast and a rising ballast conveyor is mounted in the storage receptacle for distributing the cleaned ballast therein. The cleaned ballast is discharged from the storage receptacle for redistribution by a ballast conveyor system and devices for regulating the flow of the cleaned ballast and for guiding the same between the discharge from the receptacle and the ballast conveyor system.
