    摘要: A machine for picking up and storing tie plates of a railroad track comprises the combination of a machine frame, two vertically adjustable tie plate pick-up devices transversely spaced from each other on the machine frame, the tie plate pick-up devices being vertically adjustable between a lower pick-up position wherein their transverse spacing corresponds to the track gage and an upper tie plate depositing position, a storage device arranged on the machine frame for receiving the tie plates from the pick-up devices in their upper tie plate depositing position, a transversely displaceable device mounted on the machine frame for transversely displacing a track tie within a range of about 30 cm to about 100 cm, and a vertically adjustable rail lifting device mounted on the machine frame adjacent the track tie displacing device.

The device comprises a system for simultaneously filling rail spike holes in wood cross ties including a controlled system able to move in the x, y, and z planes. The system includes a product distribution box with multiple valves and dispensing lines for applying an environmentally friendly wood filler composition into multiple rail spike holes simultaneously. The wood filler composition is applicable for filling holes or gaps in wood to stabilize wood structures.

    摘要: A method for maintenance of railroad wood ties is presented herein. The wood filler composition used in the method is applicable for filling holes or gaps in wood to stabilize wood structures. The composition comprises at least unintahite, also known as asphaltum or Gilsonite, and sand. The composition may further comprise a water repellant and a wood preservative. The composition is non-carcinogenic. The method comprises filling a hole with the dry composition described herein. The wood member may be a railroad tie and using an appropriate filling device, at least two holes, or at least four holes may be filled at one time.

    摘要: An anchor sleeve for a composite anchor is threaded in its inside surface and is anchored by at least one of an organic and inorganic mortar in a borehole formed in a concrete tie for rails or in a similar receiving material. The inside threaded sleeve (2) forms a load engagement means for an attachment member and is located in a trailing end region of the sleeve. The sleeve has two concentrically and consecutively arranged sealing elements (7, 9) at an opposite leading end of the sleeve and the sealing elements close off the leading end of the sleeve in a liquid-type manner. The sealing elements (7, 9) can be consecutively displaced out of sealing engagement at the leading end of the sleeve (2). In addition, a method for corrosion resistant anchorages employs the anchor sleeve.
