摘要： An apparatus includes a manifold heat exchange fitting (32) configured to collect a plurality of fluid streams of fluids having different fluid densities. The fitting includes a body (52) with a generally open fluid collection interior area (56). The body of the heat exchange fitting is positioned in a central fluid path that includes a body inlet (58) and a body outlet (60). A plurality of fluid stream fitting openings (76) in the body are connectable to fluid streams of fluids having different densities delivered from water discharge devices such as an autoclave, a steam sterilizer in the steam cooler. The fluid streams of the fluids having different densities collected in fluid communication in the fluid collection interior area may undergo heat exchange prior to discharge from the body outlet.

摘要： A removable trap for lavatory sinks is provided to enable new technologies to be incorporated into just the water trap portion of the sink trap to maximize the performance of the trap in infection control, while at the same time preserving the trap performance features demanded by major building codes. While a traditional P-trap requires the removal of the entire trap for cleaning or replacement, the removable trap presented in this application allows for easy removal of just the U-bend portion of the trap by releasing latch clamps. The U-bend containing the water is the most vulnerable to attack to cleaning chemicals as well as the most effective locus of innovation in materials and methods employed to reduce infectious bacteria forming biofilms within the lavatory trap.

摘要： Disclosed is a plumbing trap provided with a top access clean out for use with a P-trap. A horizontal extension conduit having an elbow having a threaded connection for attachment to a P-trap. The elbow forms an outside curvature at which is formed a clean out member providing bi-directional access within the plumbing passageway. The clean out member allows for access without having to remove the P-trap and while fluid flow is maintained within the passageway. The clean out member includes an outlet aligned along an axis that is positioned in a vertical plane at a 45° angle relative to the first axis and a 45° angle relative to the second axis and a 45° angle relative to horizontal plane relative to the first axis. A second clean out member may be positioned in a mirror image and at a 90° angle to the first clean out.

摘要： A clip on cover for sink traps is provided to allow prevention of burns to the legs of wheelchair users of the sink through isolating the trap at a distance from the cover and thus at a distance from the legs of the wheel chair user. The cover enables a range of form factors to be covered without the collection of leak water, allows leaks in the trap to be detected, and provides aesthetic flexibility and access for trap hygiene maintenance. The clip on cover enables easy cleaning and access for trap maintenance. By linking the weight of the trap indirectly to the sink mount through placement of clips such that the upper clip engages the fixed drain plug and the lower drain plug engages the trap upstream arm, strain on the downstream, horizontal, wall bend is relieved.
