    摘要: The current invention comprises a flexible conduit means for an exhaust system of a combustion engine vehicle, comprising a bellows member (2), an outer flexible braided or knitted member (3) enclosing the bellows member, a resilient member (4), that is elastically deformable and encloses the outer braided or knitted member at least partially and abuts against it, whereas the bellows member comprises two corrugated portions (21), a connecting portion (24) between the corrugated portions, and the resilient member (4) encloses the connecting portion at least partially, the connecting portion (24) comprises flanks (25) that are formed at its axial ends and extend at least in a radial direction, and a curved portion (26) which connects the flanks with each other and which is at least partially enclosed by the resilient member (4).

The first tapered member at the inlet end converges and centers the flow of gases through the flexible conduit and the second tapered member at the outlet end channels the flow of gases away from the corrugations of the corrugated flexible conduit thereby reducing noise in the flexible conduit system.

    摘要: A pipe joint structure for an exhaust gas treatment device for an industrial vehicle that can absorb an external force and that can facilitate a fine adjustment of a gap formed at the pipe joint part for introducing the outside air into the pipe joint part. A diesel particulate filter (or an exhaust gas treatment device) 1 is provided with an exhaust pipe 5. A tapered distal end portion 5a of the exhaust pipe 5 is inserted into an opening portion 4a of the tail pipe 4 and a gap is formed of a tapered cross sectional shape between the distal end portion 5a of the exhaust pipe 5 and the opening portion 4a of the tail pipe 4. The exhaust pipe 5 has first bracket members 11, 11′ and the tail pipe 4 has a second bracket member 12. Attachment bolts 13, 13′ are inserted through the first bracket members 11, 11′ and the second bracket member 12. Coil springs 15, 15′ are fitted around the outer peripheries of the attachment bolts 13, 13′ between the first bracket members 11, 11′ and the second bracket member 12. The distal end portion 5a of the exhaust pipe 5 is elastically supported relative to the opening portion 4a of the tail pipe 4 in the longitudinal direction of the pipe.

    摘要: For connection of pipelines which are subject to vibration, for example pipelines in vehicle exhaust systems, a liquid-tight decoupling element is used which includes a, e.g. multi-layer wound, metal hose and a tube accommodated in coaxial relationship inside or outside of the metal hose. A first axial fitting firmly secures one end of the tube. The tube is sized to protrude into a second axial fitting, regardless whether the metal hose is completely compressed or completely stretched, to allow movement of the tube in axial and torsional directions in relation to the second axial fitting.

    摘要: A flexible exhaust stack is suitable for use with a vehicle for which relative motion occurs between the cab of the vehicle and exhaust system components mounted to the vehicle frame. The exhaust stack includes a pipe mounted to the cab and having inlet and discharge ends. A collar is secured to an interior portion of the pipe between the inlet end and the discharge end. A flexible hose is at least partially disposed within the pipe, with a discharge end secured to the collar and an inlet end in fluid communication with the frame-mounted exhaust system components. The exhaust stack receives exhaust gases from the frame-mounted exhaust system components and discharges the exhaust gases from the discharge end of the pipe, while the flexible hose allows for relative motion between the cab and the exhaust system.
