    摘要: A transverse elevator system having generally horizontal and generally vertical components in a building with horizontal pathways guiding first passenger vehicles on each floor that connect to a plurality of vertical pathways guiding second passenger vehicles intersecting the horizontal pathways at stops at the points of intersection, wherein passenger transfer from horizontal to vertical movement is achieved by locking the first vehicles to the second vehicles with passenger chutes defining panels that extend from the vertical pathways and lock the first vehicles to the vertical pathways. In a second embodiment, passengers are carried in a separate enclosed CAPULSEs that shift from the first vehicles to the second vehicles obviating the need for complex horizontal to vertical drive transfer mechanisms.

    摘要: An electric vehicle parking energy supply system includes at least one electric power control unit that is connected with at least one electric power generation system, a parking tower having multiple vehicle carrying platforms that are movable in multiple axes for receiving electric vehicles to park thereon, multiple power buses, a power charging control unit arranged on each vehicle carrying platform for connection with and charging the electric vehicle, and at least one electric vehicle charging management center. The power charging control unit controls bidirectional electric energy supply for supplying working power required by the parking tower, the vehicle carrying platforms, and the power buses and selling extra power back to a commercial power supply. The power buses are arranged longitudinally to each correspond to one side of a predetermined location of each of the vehicle carrying platforms of the parking tower. Each power charging control unit includes at least one power collection device, which is contactable with the power buses when the vehicle carrying platforms move to the predetermined location for parking in order to allow the power charging control unit to supply charging power to charge the electric vehicle. The electric vehicle charging management center remotely monitors and controls, by means of connection through a network, the bidirectional energy supply of the electric power control unit and the charging status of the electric vehicle with each power charging control unit.

    摘要: A vehicle lift and storage system (VLSS) can have distributed control and power networks. The VLSS includes a central control unit (CCU) and a plurality of distributed control units (DCUs). Each of the DCUs is associated with and can control one or more vehicle lifts within the VLSS. For instance, each DCU can include high voltage switches (e.g., contactors) for operating one or more motors for moving vehicle platforms on the vehicle lifts associated with that DCU. The CCU can generate and transmit commands to cause the DCU to activate or deactivate the motors in accordance with desired vehicle storage or retrieval operations. Furthermore, the DCUs are configurable to be daisy chained such that a first DCU can communicate with the CCU on the control network via a second DCU and the first DCU can further receive high voltage power for operating its associated motors via the second DCU.

The connected VLSS can communicate with a computing device operated by a user to receive requests to store or retrieve the user's vehicle(s). As part of the request, location data generated by the computing device can be transmitted to the connected VLSS. In response to the request, the connected VLSS can determine a sequence of platform movements to fulfill the request to store or retrieve the user's vehicle(s). The sequence can be determined, at least in part, on the location data of the requesting user and/or the location data of other users. In addition, the sequence can be determined to minimize wait times for the requesting user and other users.

The platform can be equipped with a wireless, multi-axis accelerometer that transmits data regarding the platform to a control system of the VLSS via a wireless sensor link. Using the data from the multi-axis accelerometer, the control system can generate control signals to control the one or more moving mechanisms. The control system can also detect the occurrence of a safety event based on the data received from the multi-axis accelerometer. In response to detecting a safety event, the control system can cause the one or more moving mechanisms to enter a safety mode to alleviate or respond to the detected safety event.
