    摘要： The apparatus is a fall arrestor and lockdown device for vertical lift doors, particularly single membrane fabric vertical lift doors. A pulley on a sensing arm engages the cable which raises and lowers the door. Alternatively, the sensing arm is directly attached to a belt. The sensing arm is mechanically linked to a spring loaded pin reciprocating within a tubular housing. When the cable or belt is tensioned, the sensing arm rotates upwardly to a position where the pin is retracted and the spring compressed thereby allowing the door to move vertically. However, when the cable or belt is not tensioned, the spring urges the pin to an extended position to engage regularly spaced apertures within the guide channel. When the cable or belt is not tensioned due to a cable or belt failure, the device operates as a fall arrestor. When the cable or belt is not tensioned because the door is fully lowered to the ground, the device acts as a lockdown device.

    摘要： The invention involves an improvement to a cabinet door lock having a laterally-outwardly movable bolt that is supported in a housing and capable of being fixed in a locked position by means of a first stroke to a push button mechanism actuated perpendicular to the plane of the housing, and released from the locked position by the application of a second stroke to the push button mechanism. The improvement includes an oblique-shaped front side on the movable bolt, an oblique-shaped body stop positioned in the cabinet so as to contact the oblique-shaped front side of the movable bolt, and a compression spring pre-stressing the oblique-shaped movable bolt in an extended position when in the unlocked position, whereby the movable bolt is capable of sliding back into the housing when a traction force is exerted on the cabinet door.

The invention employs a simple construction for ease of manufacture, repair, and replacement of the first handle with other handles with different aesthetic or functional outer designs or configurations.

    摘要： A mortise lock is provided which includes a casing having a front plate for confronting a door frame and a pair of opposed side walls, the front plate having an opening for a latch bolt. A latch bolt is movable with respect to the casing between an extended position and a retracted position by a linkage connected to a hub to receive a door handle shaft, the latch bolt is rotatable axially, and the hub is rotatably secured between the opposed side walls of the casing. A slider plate for initiating movement of the linkage is provided that is movable from a first position wherein the linkage moves the latch bolt to the retracted position to a second position wherein the linkage moves the latch bolt back to the extended position. The slider plate has a preset adjuster, adjustable through at least one access aperture in the casing. An adjustable spring is included to urge the slider plate in a direction away from the hub to cause the slider plate to move to the second position and an access aperture is included in the casing to facilitate access to the adjustable spring.

    摘要： A latch assembly for releasably maintaining the drawer in a closed position with respect a drawer frame includes a latch guide attached to the interior surface of the front panel of the drawer. The latch guide has a guide channel defined therein, a latch member is slidably received. The latch member engages the drawer frame in its locked position and includes a body to which a spring is mounted for biasing the latch member upwardly into engagement with he drawer frame. The latch member has a ramp along which a slide member moves. The slide member is connected to a rod which, in turn, is connected to a drawer knob. When the knob is pulled forwardly, the latch member is moved downwardly against the force of the spring to disengage the latch member from the frame to enable the drawer to be opened.
