摘要： A door assembly for selectively interlocking opposing doors each pivotably mounted at a hinge side thereof to a door frame so as to both open and close in the same direction includes a door handle assembly mounted to one door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a first plurality of magnets, and another door handle assembly mounted to the other door at a latch side thereof opposite the hinge side and carrying a second plurality of magnets. The door handle assemblies are arranged relative to each other with the first and second pluralities of magnets aligned such each aligned pair of the first and second pluralities of magnets have opposite magnetic polarities, and the aligned first and second pluralities of magnets magnetically couple to each other as the door handle assemblies are brought into contact with each other.

摘要： A multi-pane door assembly for an oven appliance includes a door having first and second door panes. The first door pane is secured to the second door pane at a hinge point and is rotatable with respect to the second door pane between open and closed positions. As such, the door panes define a space therebetween when the first door pane is in the closed position. The door assembly also includes an engagement device for securing the door panes together, a locking mechanism for locking the engagement device, and a controller communicatively coupled to the actuating device. The locking mechanism includes, at least, a locking member and an actuating device. Thus, the controller is configured to receive one or more safety conditions relating to the oven appliance and select whether to engage or disengage the actuating device based on whether the safety condition(s) correspond to the predetermined safety condition(s).

摘要： A latching assembly for a refrigerator appliance having inner and outer doors includes a catch and a latch. The latch is operable to engage the catch. As a result of such engagement, the inner and outer doors are latched together when the latch is engaged with the catch. The latching assembly also includes a trigger connected to the latch. The trigger is movable within a plane perpendicular to the vertical direction from a first position to a secondary position. The latch moves within the plane perpendicular to the vertical direction when the trigger moves to the secondary position. As a result, the latch is disengaged from the catch by moving the trigger within the plane perpendicular to the vertical direction to the secondary position.

摘要： The present invention is a gate latching system for use in securing a pair of cooperating stock gates together. A preferred embodiment of the invention employs a pair of latching devices for securing a pair of overlapping stock gates together in a closed position. An alternate embodiment of the invention is designed with an extended arm for securing a pair of stock gates closed when the stock gates do not overlap. Both pairs of latching devices are designed so that one of the latching devices is bolted to one gate and the other latching device is bolted to the other gate. Each latching device has a u-shaped receiver for receiving a horizontal member of the opposite gate. The horizontal members enter the u-shaped receivers by lifting one of the gates as the gates are being closed and are secure therein by a lid that closes over one receiver.

The floodgate comprises: a panel for installation at a doorway to form a barrier against flooding; a hinge, the panel being movable between an opened position and a closed position about an axis of the hinge, the axis extending in use in an upright direction; and a sealing element coupled to an edge of the panel to provide sealing engagement with the ground when the panel is in the closed position thereby forming the barrier against flooding; wherein the hinge is configured to corporate with the panel to, upon the panel being moved from the closed position towards the opened position, cause the panel to move away from the ground thereby releasing the sealing engagement between the sealing element and the ground.
