    Abstract: A fenestration unit including a first panel having a leading portion and a trailing portion, a second panel, and a frame including a first lateral member and a second lateral member. The first lateral member has a trolley space configured to slideably receive a trolley assembly. The trolley assembly includes a first trolley coupled to the leading portion of the first panel and a second trolley coupled to the trailing portion of the first panel. Each of the first and the second trolleys includes a guide pin slideably received in the leading and trailing tracks, respectively. The guide pins are configured to guide the first panel out of a coplanar relationship with the second panel when the first panel is slid to an opened position and guide the first panel into a coplanar relationship with the second panel when the first panel is slid to a closed position.

The catch assembly is configured to couple to an outer surface of a sash. The catch assembly includes a catch element. The screen assembly includes a roller housing, a roller assembly, a control bar, and screen material. The roller housing is configured to couple to an outer surface of the frame. The control bar includes a hook element extending along at least a portion of the control bar. The hook element is configured to selectively engage the catch element. The roller assembly is configured to apply tension to the screen material to permit the screen material to unwind from the roller assembly under a tension applied by moving the catch assembly away from the roller assembly when the hook element engages the catch element.

    Abstract: A tensioner for a fenestration unit operator includes a base and a guide including a track, the track slidably receiving the base such that the base is restricted to sliding in a first direction with respect to the guide along a sliding axis and a second direction with respect to the guide along the sliding axis that is opposite to the first direction. The tensioner includes a pawl and a ratchet each being a part of one of the sled and the guide, respectively, the pawl being in biased engagement with the ratchet to permit sliding in the first direction and restrict sliding in the second direction, the pawl being configured to be manually disengaged from the ratchet to permit sliding in the second direction. The tensioner includes a pulley coupled to the sled such that the pulley is free to rotate about a rotational axis that is transverse to the sliding axis.
