摘要： A fenestration assembly includes an operator assembly having an escutcheon configured for coupling with the fenestration assembly. A handle linkage is coupled with the escutcheon and rotatable relative to the escutcheon. The handle linkage includes a handle arm rotatably coupled with the escutcheon and a handle knob rotatably coupled with the handle arm. An articulating joint is between the handle arm and the handle knob. The handle linkage is movable between stowed and operational configurations. In the stowed configuration the handle linkage is seated along the escutcheon, and the handle arm and the handle knob are aligned. In the operational configuration the handle linkage is unseated from the escutcheon, the handle knob and the handle arm are misaligned with the handle knob at an operating angle relative to the handle arm, and the handle linkage is configured to open and close a fenestration panel.

摘要： A tensioner for a fenestration unit operator includes a base and a guide including a track, the track slidably receiving the base such that the base is restricted to sliding in a first direction with respect to the guide along a sliding axis and a second direction with respect to the guide along the sliding axis that is opposite to the first direction. The tensioner includes a pawl and a ratchet each being a part of one of the sled and the guide, respectively, the pawl being in biased engagement with the ratchet to permit sliding in the first direction and restrict sliding in the second direction, the pawl being configured to be manually disengaged from the ratchet to permit sliding in the second direction. The tensioner includes a pulley coupled to the sled such that the pulley is free to rotate about a rotational axis that is transverse to the sliding axis.

摘要： The system is compose of a series of operable louvers mounted on a four sided frame and connected on each side to the operating mechanism that allows for easy opening and closing of the louvers. Every part of the system that is exposing to the exterior of the building is separated from the interior part of the system by a low heat conductivity material as a thermal barrier. Each operable louver is composing of a four sided main frame, two panes of glass (inner and outer) and a coupling mechanism on each side that connects to the operating mechanism. The main frame acts as the thermal break as well as a system that absorbs the energy created when an outside object impacts the window from the outside. The system incorporates sealing devices between all moving parts to eliminate water and air infiltration. The operating system allows for easy opening and closing of the window by rotating each louver with the crank mechanism assisted by springs.

摘要： A casement operator for opening and closing a window includes a housing, a cover and a crank assembly. The cover is moveable between a closed position and an open position. The crank assembly is pivotable and includes a crank handle and a gear mounted to the crank handle. The crank handle is pivotable between a retracted position and an extended position. The crank handle is enclosed within a storage cavity in a storage position. The crank handle includes a bore proximate a base end and the gear has a first detent and a second detent. A biasing member is mounted within the bore and a securing plug is mounted at least partially within the bore. The biasing member biases the securing plug toward the gear such that the securing plug is located in the first detent in the retracted position and in the second detent in the extended position.

摘要： A window operator and lock structure for controlling a window sash supported by a hinge for pivotal motion relative to a window frame, including a base mounted to the frame and supporting a drivable sun gear, and a planet gear engaging the sun gear and supported on the base for pivoting about the sun gear axis. One linkage is secured to the planet gear axis and the window sash to control motion of the sash. A locking structure secures the sash to the frame, which structure is operated by a gear arm fixedly secured to the planet gear and a cam link between the gear arm and the locking structure. Selective operation of the locking structure is effectuated by biasing the cam link against a fixed pin which engages a slot in the cam link to secure the cam link against operating the locking structure, and a trip on the sash which engages the cam link when the sash is closed against the frame to disengage the cam link from the pin.

A hand-operated door operating apparatus has a hand crank assembly that is manually movable by the operator of the vehicle to open and close the door. The door operating apparatus has a first linkage and a second linkage operatively connected to join the door to the hand crank assembly. The first linkage is movable to an over-center position to hold the door in a closed position. The second linkage is movable to an over-center position to hold the door in an open position. A common control link connects the first linkage to the second linkage.
