A flexible or rigid pipe with a cross section similar to or somewhat less than the largest circular open cross section of the tunnel is introduced into the tunnel and attached continuously or at certain points to parts of the tunnel wall. Apparatus for ensuring that a superpressure occurs within the pipe relative to its outside during flow are also introduced.

    摘要: A coupler device for joining together two segments of a tunnel or shaft lining ring, the device being characterised by a double ended male dowel having an externally grooved cylindrical portion adjacent to both ends. This dowel engages in recesses cast into the segment. A reverse tapered sleeve is cast in the recesses retaining an expandable collar formed of a plurality of arcuate segments, these arctuate segments having complimentary grooves on their inner surface to mate with the grooves on the dowel and a tapered external circumferential portion to abut the reverse tapered sleeve. As the dowel is inserted the arcuate segments, being retained elastically within the reverse tapered sleeve, lock the male part of the device into the recess preventing the device from pulling out.

    摘要: Apparatus for introducing a lining hose containing curable resin from a main pipeline, e.g. a sewer mains, into a lateral connection, e.g. a service pipe for a property, includes a shield having an arcuate configuration and complementing an inner contour of the main pipeline in an area of an inlet port of the lateral connection. The shield has an outlet opening destined for alignment with the inlet port of the lateral connection and is defined by a cross section which corresponds to a cross section of the inlet port of the lateral connection. A pipe having one end extends from the outlet opening inwardly into the main pipeline, and a conduit is connected to the other end of the pipe and provided for conducting a pressure fluid for everting a lining hose and an associated calibration hose in the lateral connection, with the calibration hose being secured adjacent the outlet opening of the shield.

The components are configured in particular as sections which are assembled into a tubular tunnel thus forming transverse and longitudinal joints. There is also a sealing profile being located in turn in each recess, thus forming a cornered sealing framework. There is also a lubricant for the contact surfaces between each component and the sealing profile, in particular for the contact surfaces between two sealing profiles. The sealing assembly has at least one sealing profile that has at least two protrusions in the vicinity of the contact surfaces. The protrusions form a sealed chamber, in which the lubricant is contained.

    摘要: The lining (1) of a tunnel is reinforced without reducing the tunnel bore. Grooves (6, 9) are cut into the tunnel lining (1) following the maximum curvature or skew to that, sometimes with one set of grooves crossing another set of different depth. Each groove (6, 9) is of generally T section and one or more rods (11) encased in a fabric sleeve (12) are inserted through the narrow mouth (6) of each groove (the stem of the T) to be within the enlarged part (9) ( the cross-bar of the T). Grout (13) injected into the sleeve expands it against the groove, and some seeps through to bond to the lining (1). Further anchoring may be achieved by drilling through the lining at the ends of the grooves into surrounding rock (15) to receive expansion bolts which are secured to the ends of the rods (11) or further grouted reinforced sleeves (17) which may be extensions of the main sleeves.

    摘要: A primary support for a tunnel roof comprising elongated lagging members which are “extruded” from tubes forming a shield for a tunnel boring machine. The lagging is inserted into the tubes at different times so as to avoid having the ends of adjacent lagging members coincide. As the tunneling machine progresses in the direction of boring, the lagging members emerge from the shield tubes to form a primary tunnel roof lining. Ring beams or arc beams may be installed as required by rock bolts or other fastening devices.

The clogging members 22d are detachably screwed to the water intake pores 22c, wherein they clog the respective water intake pores 22c, and if the clogging members are removed, the water intake pores 22c are made open to the outside.
