摘要: For a tubbing made of concrete for lining a tunnel, such as a traffic tunnel, the tubbing can have a convexly curved outer surface and a concavely curved inner surface opposite the outer surface. The tubbing can be provided with a thermoplastic sealing layer on the outer surface of the concrete tubbing. The thermoplastic sealing layer can also be arranged on all sides of the outside surfaces facing the outer surface. The tubbing can, for example, have a recess that extends around the outer surface in a frame shape, and the sealing layer engages in the recess.

摘要: A semi-shield method is utilized to make it possible to advance pipes for an extremely long distance in the ground. In the method, a semi-shield machine and a plurality of advance pipes are pushed one after another into the ground, and sub-pipes are interposed between adjacent advance pipes. Each sub-pipe is formed with injection holes arranged in the circumferential direction. A tail void filling material is injected under pressure into a tail void provided around the outer circumference of the advance pipes through the injection holes so that the filling material is distributed uniformly over the entire circumference of the advance pipes. With this arrangement, it is possible to reduce the friction between the outer periphery of the advance pipes and the natural ground and thus to advance the advance pipes for an extremely long distance in the ground.

摘要: A buried conduit consisting, in transverse cross-section, of a lower component (2) and a covering upper component (1) which bears on the upper part of the side walls (22) of the lower component (2) by means of lengthwise bearing members (3). According to the invention, the upper component (1) forms an arched vault made so as to have sufficient flexibility to distort slightly under the effect of the forces to which it is subjected, and the lower component (2) is made so as to resist, without distortion, the forces transmitted by the ground and by the upper component (1), both components being fixed to each other along the lengthwise bearing members (3) and the latter consisting of socket joints, so as to permit the bearing parts of the distortable upper component to pivot without sliding relative to the undistortable lower component.

摘要: A collapsible tunnel liner section formed from a number of arcuate segments each connected together by hinges to form a closed loop. In collapsed condition the segments are arranged in a compact stack having a cross section less in its maximum dimension than the internal diameter of the erected liner section. Typically the stack has the appearance of a figure 8, having upper and lower cavities. .[.Air bags.]. .Iadd.Expansion means .Iaddend.are located within these cavities and are expanded to expand the collapsed tunnel liner section into its erected condition. During the expansion the liner section passes through an oversized condition before assuming its final erected condition. This ensures stability for the erected liner section. After erection, grout or other filler material is inserted between the liner section and the wall of the tunnel.
