    摘要: Various examples are provided for cryogenic power extraction. In one example, among others, a system for cryogenic power extraction includes a heat exchanger that can heat a cryogenic working fluid using exhaust heat from a heat source, and a turbine that can generate power from the heated cryogenic working fluid. In another example, a method includes heating a cryogenic working fluid with waste heat from a heat source and driving a turbine with the heated cryogenic working fluid. Power produced by the turbine can be used drive a mechanical load and/or generate electricity for use by an electrical load. For example, waste heat from a combustion engine of a vehicle can be used to generate power for driving mechanical loads of the engine and/or to generate electricity for charging a battery of the vehicle.

    摘要: Provided is a system and a method which allow hydrogen to be produced both efficiently and in a stable manner when using exhaust gas produced by power generation as a heat source for the dehydrogenation reaction, controlling the temperature of the dehydrogenation reaction within an appropriate range. The system (1) for producing hydrogen comprises a dehydrogenation reaction unit (51) for producing hydrogen from an organic hydride by a dehydrogenation reaction in presence of a dehydrogenation catalyst; a first power generation unit (2) for generating electric power from energy of combustion gas produced by combustion of fuel; a waste heat recovery unit (3) for receiving heat from exhaust gas expelled from the first power generation unit; a heat exchanger (21) provided in the waste heat recovery unit for exchanging heat between the exhaust gas and a heat medium; and a circulation line (L1-L3) for introducing the heat medium heated in the heat exchanger to the dehydrogenation reaction unit in liquid form, and returning the heat medium expelled from the dehydrogenation reaction unit to the heat exchanger; wherein the heat medium is introduced into the dehydrogenation reaction unit at an introduction temperature ranging between 352° C. and 392° C., the heat medium is expelled from the dehydrogenation reaction unit at an expulsion temperature ranging between 337 ° C. and 367 ° C., and a difference between the introduction temperature and the expulsion temperature ranges between 10° C. and 50° C.

    摘要: A combustion engine includes a cylinder head including a controllable engine valve configured to open/close a combustion chamber in the combustion engine, a valve actuator operatively connected with and configured to displace the engine valve, and a closed pressure fluid circuit, wherein the valve actuator is arranged in the closed pressure fluid circuit. The combustion engine includes a cylinder head chamber that is included in the closed pressure fluid circuit and that is delimited by the cylinder head and a cylinder head mantle, by the valve actuator including a pneumatic pressure fluid circuit with an outlet opening that is in fluid communication with the cylinder head chamber, and by the cylinder head chamber including a hydraulic liquid drainage valve, wherein a drainage conduit stretches from the hydraulic liquid drainage valve to a hydraulic liquid vessel of the combustion engine for draining hydraulic liquid accumulated in the cylinder head chamber.
