    摘要: Even in the case where, due to distortion (undulation) or the like of an end surface of an adjusting screw abutting on a valve stem end, there exists a non-linear undulation movement amount in a movement amount of the end surface with respect to a rotation return angle of the adjusting screw, the undulation movement amount is continuously measured, and a screw return movement amount based on a screw pitch and on the rotation return angle is continuously calculated, and, when a total movement amount of the undulation movement amount and the screw return movement amount has attained a prescribed clearance, return rotation is ended.

    摘要: A device for actuating at least one valve in an internal combustion engine includes a camshaft arrangement including a hollow outer shaft and an inner shaft, which is concentrically mounted inside of the outer shaft to be pivotable relative to the outer shaft. A first cam lobe is mounted on one of the inner shaft and the outer shaft in a rotationally fixed manner and a second cam lobe is mounted on the other of the inner shaft and the outer shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The device further includes a rocker arm arrangement including a first primary rocker arm, which is arranged to follow the first cam lobe and arranged to actuate a first valve when it follows the first cam lobe. The rocker arm arrangement further includes an auxiliary rocker arm, which is arranged to follow the second cam lobe. The auxiliary rocker arm is adapted to actuate the first primary rocker arm so that an opening tune of the first valve may be extended by the auxiliary rocker arm following the second cam lobe.

Either a start mode for starting the reciprocating engine is activated via the driving vehicle wheel, or a coasting mode is activated for driving the reciprocating engine via the driving vehicle wheel. At least one volume-reducing stroke is executed that follows an intake stroke for at least one cylinder of the reciprocating engine with at least intermittently open cylinder. Alternately at least one volume-enlarging stroke is executed for at least one cylinder of the reciprocating engine, which is followed by a compression stroke of this cylinder, and at least one volume-reducing stroke of this cylinder, which follows an expansion stroke that follows the compression stroke, with a cylinder that is closed, if possible, in this operating mode.

    摘要: A rocker arm for an engine valve actuator assembly is disclosed. The rocker arm may include a rocker arm body disposed between a first and second arm end. Furthermore, a rocker arm bore and an adjuster compartment may be defined proximal to the second arm end. The rocker arm may further include a roller positioned at the first arm end and operably coupled to a cam, the cam configured to actuate the rocker arm between a first and second position. The rocker arm may further include a shaft inserted through a shaft mounting aperture and the rocker arm is configured to rotate about the shaft between the first and second positions. Furthermore, a fluid passage may be defined within the rocker arm body extending between a first passage opening formed in a bearing surface of the shaft mounting aperture and a second passage opening that opens into the adjuster compartment.
