摘要: There is provided a spring-powered drive apparatus including a casing (102), an output shaft (103) mounted on the casing (102) in a relatively rotatable manner, a one way clutch (112) externally fitted on the output shaft (103) in the casing (102) and, a spiral spring (105, 107) housed in the casing and wound by turning of the output shaft (103) in the direction in which the one way clutch (112) transmits torque. 摘要: A micro power generator is provided, including a cam structure, an electromagnetic unit, a first clutch, and a first energy converting unit. The electromagnetic unit is partially disposed in the cam structure, which includes a central shaft and a first shaft gear. The first shaft gear is rotated with the central shaft.The first clutch is telescoped on the central shaft, and rotated with the first shaft gear. The first energy converting unit is connected to the first shaft gear of the electromagnetic unit. In an energy-storing state, the first clutch is connected to the cam structure and is moved with the cam structure and the first shaft gear to move the first energy converting unit and to store the kinetic energy of the cam structure to the first energy converting unit. In a power-generating state, the first clutch is separated from the cam structure.

The system having a backdrive assembly that includes a spring body retainer having a first body portion, the spring body retainer configured for rotational movement about an axis. A biasing member is provided that is configured to exert a backdriving force on the spring body retainer. A spring leg retainer is provided having a second body portion and a plurality of projections, the spring leg retainer being configured to incrementally apply a preload torque to the biasing member. A spring locking plate is operably connected to the spring leg retainer, the spring locking plate being configured to engage at least one of the plurality of projections.

摘要: A rotary mechanism is provided, including a first housing, a second housing, a rotary module, an elastic element, and a speed-reduction module. The rotary module connects to the first housing and extends therefrom to connect with the second housing. The elastic element connects the second housing and the rotary module. The speed-reduction module connects to the rotary module. When an external force is exerted on the second housing, and the second housing rotates relative to the first housing along a first direction, the elastic element stores an elastic potential energy. When the external force is released, the second housing rotates relative to the first housing along a second direction by the elastic force. The second direction is opposite to the first direction, and the speed-reduction module reduces the rotary speed of the second housing relative to the first housing.

摘要: An energy storage apparatus for storing energy transmitted by a power transmission line includes an elastically deformable component and an actuator-generator. The actuator-generator is coupled to the elastically deformable component such that electrical actuation of the actuator-generator generates tension in the elastically deformable component. The actuator-generator is further coupled to the elastically deformable component such that mechanical actuation of the actuator-generator via a release of tension in the elastically deformable component causes a generation of electrical energy by the actuator-generator.

摘要: An energy production apparatus that includes a weight bearing member configured to alternate between an upper and lower position, and a drive shaft. A gear system can be connected to the weight bearing member and the drive shaft. The gear system can be positioned to rotate the drive shaft when a load is placed on the weight bearing member and the weight bearing member moves from the upper position to the lower position. A torsion spring can be connected to the drive shaft, the torsion spring positioned to wind as the weight bearing member moves to the lower position. A return member can be configured to return the weight bearing member to the upper position. A locking member can selectively engage the gear system, the locking member preventing the torsion spring from unwinding when engaged. A generator can be driven by the drive shaft as the torsion spring unwinds.

摘要: The technology is directed to an energy storage and release system that stores energy and enables a repeatable and accurately timed release of energy. A shaft member supports a drive assembly, a locking assembly and a lever member there between. The lever member and locking assembly are attached to the shaft. The drive assembly rotates freely about the shaft and loads energy into a torsion spring in communication with the lever member. The torsion spring connects at one end to the drive assembly and at the other end to the lever member without contacting the shaft member. The locking assembly provides a triggered release mechanism for selective release of stored energy from the torsion spring that accordingly rotates the lever member. The system can automatically reload the torsion spring once a signal is received from any number of events including, when the rotating lever member contacts a stop member or limit sensor that signals the end of travel for the lever member in either rotational directions.

摘要: A winding tool for tightening a torsion spring for a sectional overhead door. The winding tool features two half hub assembles that wrap around an overhead door shaft, wherein a translational sprocket is disposed on the hub assemblies. The hub assemblies connect to the winding cone of a torsion spring via fingers that engage the hub assemblies. A winding box is removably attached to the hub assemblies. The winding box features a worm gear that engages the translational sprocket. A handle bar can be rotated with a drill to cause rotation of the worm gear. Rotation of the worm gear causes rotation of the translational sprocket and ultimate winding of the torsion spring.
