摘要： A vehicle door latch has a forkbolt, a detent that holds the forkbolt in a latched position, a release mechanism that moves the detent to release the forkbolt and a lock mechanism for disabling the release mechanism. The detent is moved by an intermittent lever that is part of the release mechanism and part of the locking mechanism. A lock lever forming part of the lock mechanism moves the intermittent lever back and forth between an unlock position where the intermittent lever drives the detent to release the forkbolt and a lock position where the intermittent lever free wheels with respect to the detent. The intermittent lever is pivotally connected to an unlatching lever of the release mechanism that is operated by inside and outside release levers. The lock lever includes a lower lock lever, an upper lock lever and a spring that stores energy when the lower lock lever pivots with respect to the upper lock lever. The lock mechanism includes an inside lock lever and an outside lock lever for operating the lower lock lever. The door latch also includes a motor driven actuator assembly for operating the lock mechanism and a double lock assembly for disabling the lock assembly so that the door latch cannot be unlocked by the inside lock lever.

The U-shaped bracket comprises a base plate of substantial width and height and a narrow generally L-shaped strap that is integrally attached to the side of the base plate and that has an end portion spaced from the base plate. The striker pin has an enlarged head that bottoms in a through hole of the base plate, a threaded shank end that screws into an end of the strap and a collar adjacent the threaded end for transferring longitudinal loads from the door latch to the base plate.

摘要： A latch is provided including a fork bolt configured to rotate between an unlatched position and a latched position. A detent is configured to cooperate with the fork bolt. At least one of the fork bolt and the detent includes a resilient absorption mechanism. The resilient absorption mechanism is configured to deform upon impact and decelerate the rotation of either the fork bolt of the detent respectively. The latch also includes a housing and a stop tab protruding from the housing. The stop tab is configured to engage a complementary portion of the fork bolt with in a latched position to limit further rotation thereof.

摘要： A socket pivotally retains the end of a rod that is inserted axially into the socket from either axial direction comprises a lever and two annular retaining clips. One clip is inserted into a hole in the lever from one side and the second clip is inserted into the first clip from an opposite side. The second clip has two sets of fingers at opposite ends that have lugs that engage an internal collar of the first clip to retain the clips in assembly with the lever. The second clip also has two more sets of finger at opposite ends that have catches that engage indents in the rod end to retain the rod end in the socket. The catches and indents are shaped so that the rod end can be inserted into the socket from either axial direction and retained in the socket irrespective of the axial direction of insertion.

The cable actuator assembly includes a cable assembly and an actuator assembly. The cable assembly has a sheath and a core that slides in the sheath. The actuator assembly has an anchor fixed on a base and a bell crank lever pivotally mounted on the base. The sheath is attached to the anchor at one end and to the inside operating lever of the door latch at the opposite end with slack. The core is attached to the bell crank lever at one end and to the inside lock operating lever at the opposite end. The bell crank lever is rotated by a handle to rotate the inside lock and latch operating levers so as to unlock and unlatch the door latch in sequence.
