    摘要: The gas-turbine rotor is composed of a plurality of rotor disks which are placed one next to another in the axial direction thereof and fastened by spindle bolts piercing through all the rotor disks in the axial direction. Each of the rotor disks has annular protrusions on both sides and are joined to the adjoining rotor disks by abutting the top faces of the annular protrusions against the annular protrusions of the adjoining rotor disks. Grooves having semicircular cross sections are formed on the top face of each of the annular protrusions. When the rotor is assembled, the grooves of the adjoining rotor disks join and form circular holes. Cylindrical torque pins having flanges at both ends are fitted into the circular holes formed by the grooves. The surfaces of the inner side walls of the annular protrusions are formed as spherical surfaces. The faces of the flanges of the torque pins which contact the inner side walls are formed as spherical shapes matching the curvature of the spherical surfaces of the inner side walls.

    摘要: A method and apparatus are used to balance an open blade fan of the kind used with trucks, diesel engine driven generator sets, and the like. An apparatus is used to spin the fans and a vibration sensor senses vibrations and a light beam is used to indicate the location to attach a balancing weight. The fan is spun again and the vibrations measured and additional weights are attached at different specified locations until the measured vibrations are below a predetermined level. The fan includes a plastic body with integral, plastic fan blades which is attached to a central metal hub plate with configured weights attached to matching configured portions of the plastic body. The preferred weights are clips with barbs that pierce the plastic body. The metal hub plates are electrostatically painted to provide a uniformly thick coating with good adhesion. An ultraviolet light additive is provided in the plastic body with the fan blades being reinforced with glass particles and rendered UV resistant by the UV additive.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a wind turbine with oscillation damping means provided at the nacelle and being designed for damping edgewise oscillations of the rotor blades in the rotational plane of the rotor. In particular, the invention relates to a wind turbine in which the oscillation damping means are provided at the end of the nacelle being opposite to the end from which the rotor extends and are designed for damping oscillations of the first eigenfrequency of the rotor blades in the rotational plane, especially oscillations being perpendicular to the rotational axis of the rotor. The damping means are advantageously designed to dampen oscillations of a frequency being substantially equal to the first eigenfrequency in the rotational plane of the at least one blade minus the frequency of rotation of the rotor. The oscillation damping means of the present invention are preferably capable of damping oscillations being substantially horizontal and substantially perpendicular to the rotation axis.

    摘要: A variable pitch fan in which the pitch of the fan blades is varied under control of a controller according to the speed of the fan. The controller is programmed to respond to increased fan speed by decreasing pitch of the fan blades. The variable pitch fan has a piston extending axially from a main shaft, about which main shaft a fan blade hub rotates. A pitch shifter is mounted on a cylinder, which itself is mounted on the piston. The pitch shifter is actuated by hydraulic fluid supplied through the main shaft to the cylinder. The piston is preferably axially stationary in relation to the main shaft. The cylinder is secured against rotational movement by cooperating out of round surfaces. Grease for the pitch shifter is supplied through the guide pin. One guide pin may be used for grease supply, while another may be used for excess grease return. Cooling of a pitch shifter may be accomplished using a heat sink mounted within the fan hub, preferably in a fan configuration, to conduct heat away from the cylinder into air rotating within the fan hub. Counterweights are mounted on each fan blade of a variable pitch fan, preferably hydraulically actuated, in a position which generates a torque opposite in direction to torque generated by the fan blades. The counterweights may be overbalanced, underbalanced, or balanced.

    摘要: A do-it-yourself ceiling fan with a ceiling lamp has a ceiling frame and a guide head. A control rod can pull a confining inserting rod backwards so as to compress a spring. Thereby, the confining inserting rod is separated from a ceiling frame. The guide head inserts into an inserting seat of the ceiling frame, thereby, the ceiling fan being conductive to the ceiling lamp. By the resilient force of the spring, the resisting ring of the confining inserting rod restores to the original position to prevent the guide head from falling down. When it is desired to package, transfer or store the ceiling fan, the guide head with the ceiling lamp is pulled out from the ceiling fan. In assembly, it is only necessary to insert the guide head of the ceiling lamp into the ceiling frame of the ceiling fan without needing studs, and other tools.

    摘要: A balancing arrangement which is used to relieve or take up axial thrust in a multistage centrifugal pump, having a balancing device with at least one axial gap (8) and at least one radial gap (6,7) and in which a balancing flow is conducted through the gaps, and having an axial bearing which receives remaining axial thrust. Associated with the axial bearing is a cardanic ring (10) which serves to offset alignment errors. Highly reliable operation with only low leakage losses is achieved by configuring the balancing device such that a residual thrust in the direction of the suction side of the pump exists in all operating conditons and the cardanic ring is designed such that it is elastically deformed by the residual thrust and has a spring constant such that the axial gap (s) will close from a maximum width position when the pump is at rest to a minimum width position during operation while still avoiding contact between the surfaces which define the axial gap.

The fan mountable air freshener device includes an air freshener device that can be mounted to a blade of a ceiling fan, the air freshener includes a housing, which includes an upper wall and a lower wall. The housing includes a pair of side walls, a first end and second end, wherein the lower wall, the side walls and the upper wall are positioned such that the pair of side walls, the upper wall and the lower wall define a channel through the housing. The first end includes a first aperture for allowing air to travel into the channel. The second end of the housing includes a second aperture for allowing air to travel out of the channel. The housing is positioned such that the first end faces a leading edge of the blade of the ceiling fan whereby air is urged through the first aperture when the ceiling fan rotates. A scented material is disposed in the channel such that air passing through the channel passes over the scented material for dispersing the scent out of the channel.
