    摘要: A fan includes a motor base, a bearing, an impeller, a stator and a magnetic element. The motor base has a bearing stand in a center portion thereof. The bearing is accommodated within the bearing stand. The impeller includes a metallic case, a hub, plural blades and a rotating shaft. The metallic case has a top wall and a sidewall. The hub is sheathed around the metallic case. The blades are disposed around an outer periphery of the hub. The rotating shaft is inserted into a central opening of the top wall and penetrated through the bearing stand, wherein no raised ring structure is formed in the top wall of the metallic case, and the rotating shaft and the metallic case are jointed together by a laser welding process. The magnetic element is disposed on an inner wall of the metallic case and aligned with the stator.

    摘要: An impeller of an axial fan includes a cup-shaped blade support portion configured to cover a rotor holder, and blades in a circumferential direction outside of the blade support portion. Rotation of the impeller generates a downward air flow from the inlet of the axial fan to the outlet of the axial fan. The axial fan includes first and second balance correction portions. The first balance correction portion is located between the blade support portion and the rotor holder. The second balance correction portion is located axially below the first balance correction portion, and is located axially below the rotor holder and a junction of each blade with the blade support portion. The impeller includes a first cone portion located axially below the second balance correction portion. A tangent to a radially outer surface of the first cone portion crosses the second balance correction portion.

    摘要: A system is disclosed for measuring displacement of a regulation system for a variable pitch axial fan. The system includes a hub having a plurality of adjustable pitch fan blades. A hydraulic cylinder is connected to the hub. A piston is disposed within the hydraulic cylinder. The piston is coupled to a piston shaft that is axially movable with respect to the hub. The piston shaft is coupled to an actuation assembly for adjusting the pitch of the plurality of adjustable pitch fan blades in response to an axial movement of the piston. A rotating oil union includes a housing and an interior element, the interior element coupled to the hydraulic cylinder so that rotation of the cylinder and the hub causes rotation of the interior element. The rotating oil union includes a static housing and a central probe fixed to the static housing. The central probe extends through respective openings in the interior element, the hydraulic cylinder, and the piston. The central probe is configured to sense an axial position of the piston and to generate a signal representative of said axial position. A method for using the system is also disclosed.
