    Abstract: Systems and methods which provide motive forces with respect to various apparatuses using self-engaging/disengaging transmission configurations are described. An autonomous-state transmission may comprise a transmission unit configured to autonomously engage and disengage transmission of power from a driving input member to a driven output member without utilization of external gearing or additional mechanical feedback. Embodiments of an autonomous-state transmission may utilize various roller-ramp clutch configurations in communication with override control for disengaging the roller-ramp clutch. The override control may implement various configurations of a skidding mechanism for facilitating engaging and/or disengaging the roller-ramp clutch. According to some examples, motion of the driving input member and/or driven output member is utilized for override force detection and providing override control with respect to the autonomous-state transmission. Embodiments of an autonomous-state transmission may be bidirectionally operative to autonomously engage and disengage transmission of power from a driving input to a driven output.

    Abstract: A selectable clutch with a selector is provided, in which support grooves are formed to one of an inner race and an outer race, while pocket parts are formed to the other. A resilient member is provided to bias rollers disposed between the inner race and outer race toward the pocket parts. A roller-holding surface of the support groove and a roller-holding surface of the pocket part are formed with an inclination angle such that, when the rollers are held therebetween, a force acts on the rollers in a direction to move the rollers toward the pocket parts. In the lock mode, the rollers are each held by the support groove, pocket part, and selector.

    Abstract: To provide a cam clutch unit that reduces the number of machining steps and level of difficulty of cam clutch production and reduces rotation resistance caused by rollers. The cam clutch unit includes: a plurality of cams and a plurality of rollers circumferentially arranged between an inner race and an outer race that are coaxial and rotatable relative to each other; a cage ring having a plurality of pocket portions that restrict circumferential relative movements of the cams and the rollers; and an annular spring that biases the cams. The cams each have, on one axial end face, an engagement step that can engage with the spring. The cage ring has a plurality of hook portions that restrict axial movements of the annular spring.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a lower pair arc stop-block overrunning clutch comprising an outer rotating element, an inner rotating element, a friction block assembly, a wedge assembly, a first propeller assembly, a first elastic element and a synchronized push-block assembly, wherein a plurality of friction blocks of the friction block assembly are connected end to end and arranged between a first rotating ring and a second rotating ring; an drive element drives the first propeller assembly to press the synchronized push-block assembly to achieve synchronization of the friction block assembly; the first propeller assembly strikes the friction block assembly and is relatively stationary to push the friction block assembly for generating reverse rotation relative to a driven element; the wedge assembly is wedged to generate a radial pressure on the friction block assembly so that the friction block assembly can achieve lower pair arc stop, thereby achieving the transfer of torque.

    Abstract: A bi-directional overrunning clutch differential is configured to transmit power from an input shaft to a first output shaft and a second output shaft in a vehicle. The differential includes a differential housing having a first bearing seat and a second bearing seat. A first bearing is carried by the differential housing in the first bearing seat, and a second bearing is carried by the differential housing in the second bearing seat. A first retaining ring secures the first bearing in the first bearing seat, and a second retaining ring secures the second bearing in the second bearing seat. A first output hub is carried by the first bearing for rotation relative to the differential housing, and a second output hub is carried by the second bearing for rotation relative to the differential housing.

    Abstract: An axle includes: an electromagnet; a transmission disc provided with a first magnetic suction member; a half shaft fitted in the transmission disc, first and second gaps being arranged circumferentially between the transmission disc and the half shaft; and a transmission assembly arranged between the transmission disc and the half shaft, and provided with a second magnetic suction member, a thickness of the transmission assembly being less than the first gap, and greater than or equal to the second gap. When the electromagnet is powered off, the transmission assembly and the half shaft are relatively stationary, and the transmission assembly is located at the first gap. When the electromagnet is powered on, the first magnetic suction member and the second magnetic suction member are attracted by the electromagnet, and the transmission disc rotates synchronously with the transmission assembly and rotates to the second gap relative to the half shaft.

    Abstract: A unidirectional rotary bearing contains a bearing body, multiple rollers, two rotatable driving rings, and at least two homing springs. The bearing body includes an internal surface and two peripheral surfaces, the internal surface has multiple receiving grooves each having an engagement segment and a disengagement segment, and each peripheral surface has a circular groove. Each of the multiple rollers is columnar and has a diameter which is more than an engaging depth of the engagement segment of each receiving groove of the bearing body and is less than a disengaging depth of the disengagement segment of each receiving groove of the bearing body, and each roller has two drive extensions. A diameter of each of the multiple apertures is more than each of the two drive extensions and is less than the diameter of each roller.
