    摘要: A drive unit for a forming machine, comprising a rotary drive and a knuckle-joint drive for a gear transmission operating a ram, the knuckle-joint drive being operationally connected through a gear transmission to the rotary drive. To improve the drive rigidity as regards a forming machine and to be able to improve the drive-unit design and to relatively easily match the drive unit to the specific requirements of different forming methods, the gear transmission offers a periodically varying transmission ratio, at least two mutually engaging non-circular gears being used of which the pitch curves are designed in such manner that in conjunction with the knuckle-joint drive, and especially in conjunction with a subsequent crank drive, the motions of the ram will be optimally matched thereby to the particular work method.

    摘要: A walking beam pumping system is disclosed wherein the pumping system's prime mover is gravity. In one embodiment, the system comprises a walking beam pivotally coupled to a support structure at a pivot point substantially central along the length of the walking beam. A counterbalance weight is disposed along the length of the walking beam. A position device is provided for moving the counterbalance weight along at least a portion of the length of the walking beam. As the counterbalance weight moves along the length of the walking beam, the beam's center of gravity is modulated. By modulating the position of the counterbalance weight in an appropriate manner, the walking beam is caused to pivot back and forth with respect to the support structure. A pumping assembly, for example a sucker rod string, is attached to one end of the walking beam, such that as the walking beam pivots back and forth, the pumping system is actuated to pump fluid out of, for example, an oil well bore. In one embodiment, the positioning device for moving the counterbalance weight comprises a linear motor.

    摘要: A working device, especially a ramming device for compacting soil, or a hammer, has a crank mechanism for producing a controlled vibration. The crank mechanism is coupled with a set of springs. According to the invention, the crank disk belonging to the crank mechanism is provided with a counter-mass whose center of gravity is shifted around an angle not equal to 180° from the center of gravity of a crank pin on the crank disk, in relation to the axis of rotation of the crank disk. This prevents vibrations which would be unpleasant for the person operating the device from occurring.
