摘要： A shower arm support for supporting the shower arm that projects outwardly through a shower stall wall from the water supply system that extends such support to the water supply system behind the shower stall wall. The apparatus includes a base sleeve that inwardly slides over the shower arm so that the rear surface of the base sleeve abuts the exposed surface of the shower stall wall. The base sleeve is then affixed to the shower stall wall using screws threadably received within front threaded openings of the base sleeve, and then clamped to the shower arm using screws threadably received within side threaded openings of the base sleeve, so that the base sleeve supports the shower arm from being loose or wobbly, and extends such support to the water supply system behind the shower stall wall that is connected to the shower arm.

摘要： An existing protective duct contains a bundle of guide tubes through which fiber optic cables are run to customers at existing service locations. In order to run a cable to a new customer at a different service location, the duct is cut at a branch point and a short section of the duct is removed to expose the guide tubes. An unused guide tube is cut and serially connected to a branch guide tube leading to the new service location. The protective duct sidewall is restored at the branch point by a splittable Y-branch connector that includes complementary housing sections, an inlet opening, an outlet opening and at least one branch opening. Splittable coupling collars seal the branch connector housing sections around the respective cut end portions of the existing duct. The Y-branch connector also includes a branch stub that is sealed around the branch guide tube.

摘要： A multi-setting connector for connecting at least one secondary branch line to a main line of a sap collection system or network comprises a clip member, a sap conveying member and a pair of straps. The clip member by way of the straps is adapted to be firmly mounted around the main line with the sap conveying member extending through the clip member and into the main conduit and having tubular fittings for connection to the branch lines such that the branch lines are fluidly connected to the main line. The straps are detachable from the clip member with the clip member and the straps being adapted to be selectively connected together such as to adjust an effective length of the straps, typically depending on the outside diameter of the main line. More particularly, the clip member and the straps include co-operating male and female engagement members configured for mounting the straps at various relative positions with respect to the clip member. The clip member is also provided with elongated sockets on its outside surface adapted for detachably receiving a cable or a wire such that the connector may be suspended from such cable when it is desired to maintain the sap collection network, or at least part thereof, at an elevation from the ground.

摘要： A mechanical coupling is provided for connecting a branch pipe to a main pipe at a hole through the main pipe. The coupling includes an elastomeric sealing gasket which has a plurality of generally parallel extending, but radially spaced, circumferential seals to effect a secure sealing engagement between the main pipe and the branch pipe in a minimal size coupling. Further, there is increased retention of the gasket within the coupling during on-site assembly which facilitates such assembly.
