    摘要: A pipe insulation coupling (10) for supporting a pipe (11) and for coupling adjacent ends of pipe insulation tubing (14) is disclosed. The pipe insulation coupling (10) comprises an outer tube wall (22), a first planar interior wall (23) and a scaling mechanism (18). The outer tube wall extends along a longitudinal axis (33) between a first end (37) and a second end (38). The outer tube wall is split longitudinally from the first end to the second end to define a first body portion (39) and a second body portion (40). The first planar interior wall extends inwardly from the outer tube wall transverse to the longitudinal axis between the first and second ends. The first planar interior wall includes a center bore (28) for receiving the pipe. The first planar interior wall provides an abutment for the adjacent ends of the insulation tubing. The sealing mechanism extends longitudinally between the first and second ends of the outer tube wall for securing the first and second body portions together to retain the pipe and adjacent ends of insulation tubing. The sealing mechanism comprises an outward sealing face (29) at an end of the first body portion and an inward sealing face (30) at an end of the second body portion. When the pipe insulation coupling and the pipe insulation tubing are installed on the pipe, the sealing mechanism forms an air-tight seal to prevent air from entering the pipe insulation coupling.

    摘要: A riser clamp assembly for receiving and supporting an insulated pipe. The clamp assembly includes a first riser clamp and a second riser clamp. Each of the riser clamps includes a semi-circular body portion extending arcuately between opposite first and second ends and defining an inner cylindrical wall and an outer cylindrical wall extending axial between top and bottom edges. A generally C-shaped flange projects radially from the inner cylindrical wall generally midway between the top and bottom edges to define an axial center opening. A support brace extends radially from the outer cylindrical wall adjacent each end of the body portion for interconnecting the first and second riser clamps around the insulated pipe.

    摘要: An insulation compression reduction assembly for reducing compression of an insulating material surrounding a horizontally extending pipe in combination with a pipe support supporting said pipe. The compression reduction assembly includes a base pressure skate element sized and shaped to fit within the pipe support, a pipe holder structure sized and shaped to rest against an outer surface of the horizontal extending pipe, and a spacing element connecting the base pressure skate element and the pipe holder structure and forming an offset spacing therebetween for reducing compression of the insulating material. An insulation compression reduction kit of disassembled components of the above assembly that can be used to form the above compression reduction assembly is also provided according to the present invention.

    摘要: A support or fixing device for pipework having walls which are thin relative to its diameter and subjected to large temperature variations and to radial forces. The device comprises: (a) support cradles (2A, 2B, 2C, 2D) having an internal profile whose radius of curvature is close to that of the pipework; (b) a rigid half-collar (7) disposed around and spaced from the periphery of the pipework, and having some of the cradles fixed thereto; (c) two arms (5A, 5B) hinged at their ends to the half-collar and having others of the cradles fixed thereto; and (d) a flexible arm clamping device (9) resiliently applying the cradles against the pipework, independently of expansions and radial forces applied to the pipework.
