摘要: A through-air apparatus for drying or bonding paper, tissue, or nonwoven webs is provided. The apparatus includes a web-carrying structure configured to move and a first component having at least one sealing element adjacent the web-carrying structure, where the sealing element is configured to reduce the infiltration of ambient air into the through-air apparatus. The apparatus also includes at least one channel configured to direct air to the sealing element to reduce the infiltration of ambient air into the through-air apparatus. A method of operating a through-air apparatus for drying or bonding paper, tissue, or nonwoven webs is also provided. The method includes directing air to a sealing element to reduce the infiltration of ambient air into the through-air apparatus.

The core may include an outer surface; an inner surface; and a wall extending between the outer and inner surfaces. The laminate may include a foil or metallized polymeric film sheet, a scrim, a porous media sheet, and a polymeric film sheet bonded together via an adhesive. The laminate may include a closure flap that is configured to adhesively seal opposite ends of the laminate together to form a cylindrical tube with the core enclosed therein. The closure flap may be configured to include a curl that provides a greater closure flap adhesive seal.

摘要: The invention relates to a thermally insulated conduit pipe, comprising at least one medium pipe, at least one thermal insulation arranged around the medium pipe, and at least one outer jacket arranged around the thermal insulation, wherein the outer jacket possibly comprises a barrier made of plastic, and wherein the thermal insulation comprises a foam, the cell gas of which contains at least 10 vol % HFOs. Such conduit pipe has good insulating behavior, good environmental balance, and is easily producible.

摘要: Disclosed are a cabin pipeline using a super thermal insulation material and a preparation method thereof, comprising an electrically conductive inner pipe, an anti-corrosion coating coated on the electrically conductive inner pipe, a thermal insulation layer formed by a super thermal insulation material wound on the anti-corrosion coating, and a resin sealing layer coated on an outside of the thermal insulation layer. The electrically conductive inner pipe has excellent corrosion resistance to liquefied natural gas in the pipeline; the protective layer formed by the anti-corrosion coating and the resin sealing layer can prevent the electrically conductive inner pipe from being directly exposed to the environment due to long-term seawater infiltration or accidental damage of the outer layer, avoid electrochemical corrosion and further improve the corrosion resistance.

摘要: A flexible conduit used for transportation of hydrocarbon fluids for off-shore and on-shore oil and gas applications includes an inner pressure sheath, at least one reinforcing layer at least partially disposed around the pressure sheath, an outer protective sheath at least partially disposed around the at least one reinforcing layer, and optionally a thermally insulating layer disposed between the at least one reinforcing layer and the outer protective sheath. At least one of the inner pressure sheath, outer protective sheath, and the thermally insulating layer is manufactured using a thermoplastic blend (TPB) composition. The TPB compositions disclosed herein are useful for the formation of at least one polymer layer of the thermoplastic umbilical hoses used for transportation of hydrocarbon fluids.

摘要: A plug-in coupling for connecting a first to a second double-walled, vacuum-insulated cryogenic line includes a coupling plug and a coupling socket. The coupling plug has an inner and an outer pipe piece and a first connecting flange and is connected to the first cryogenic line. The coupling socket has an inner and an outer pipe piece and a second connecting flange and is connected to the second cryogenic line. In an assembled state of the plug-in coupling, the coupling plug has been plugged into an open annular gap in the coupling socket. The annular gap is surrounded both at its inner circumference and at its outer circumference by an insulating vacuum, whereby the thermal insulation of the plug-in coupling is improved. This construction makes possible a shorter design of the plug-in coupling, which, while achieving good thermal insulation, is space-saving and easy to handle.
