    摘要: A dual-voltage lighting fixture assembly having at least two independent lighting circuits for supporting and energizing tube-type lamps. The assembly comprises a track having an insulating housing for mounting at least one set of conductors along an upper plane surface of the housing and at least one other set of conductors along a lower plane surface of the housing. Sets of complementary tabs formed in the housing provide means for locking a plurality of lamp clips at predetermined positions on the track. An improved lamp clip includes means for connecting the lamp clip to the track and separate means for making electrical contact between the lamp and one of the conductors in the track. The lamp clip has corresponding apertures for receiving the complementary tabs in the track to lock the lamp clip in position, and an outwardly-extending tang integral with one side thereof for making electrical contact with the conductor. A low-profile track connector connects sections of track together end-to-end to form a track of variable length, wherein a continuous line of lamps can be maintained from one track section to the next without interruption at the point of connection.

    摘要: A light stand (10) having a pair of height adjustment mechanisms (14) which allows a user to selectively adjust the height of a light fixture (12) supported by the light stand on end at a time. The light stand includes a pair of spaced-apart vertical supports (16) and a horizontal member (56) extending between the supports and attached to the supports at opposite ends. Each height adjustment mechanism comprises an elongate flexible member (64) extending over a guide (60) attached to the inner horizontal member and securable to a securing device (62) attached to one of the vertical supports. The elongate flexible member is connected to the light fixture at one end (70), extends over the guide and is securable to the securing device. To change the height of one end of the light fixture, a user disengages one of the elongate flexible members from the corresponding securing devices, adjusts the length of the elongate flexible member played out from the guide and engages the elongate flexible member with securing device. If desired, the user repeats the forgoing steps with the height adjustment mechanism at the opposite end of the light fixture.

    摘要: A support pole for raising and lowering a supported object between a lower position and an elevated position is disclosed. The support pole includes an elongate pole having a top, a bottom, and a channel extending at least partly between the top and bottom. A threaded rod is rotationally mounted within the channel, and is connected to a detachable coupling for engaging a drive tool to rotationally drive the threaded rod. A carriage engages the threaded rod, such that rotation of the rod imparts translational movement upon the carriage through the channel. The carriage includes a mounting bracket for attachment of the supported object thereto. A cable connecting the supported object and an external device or power source has a detachable coupling, and is carried along a pulley at the top of the elongate pole when the carriage is raised and lowered. A return spring is connected to one end of the cable to retract the free end of the cable back to the base of the pole when the supported object is raised into the elevated position. Carriage locks at the top of the pole engage the carriage in the elevated position to prevent vibration of the supported object. A stabilizer frame within the channel minimizes vibration of the threaded rod as it is rotationally driven.
