    摘要: The color temperature of light emitted by a luminaire having a hollow prismatic light guide is varied to counteract aesthetically undesirable reddening gradient of the emitted light. Reddening is caused by the light guide's dielectric material, which absorbs blue light rays such that proportionately more red than blue rays are guided to the light guide's far end than to points near the guide's light input end. Flare light rays which escape through the light guide near its light input end are color filtered and reflected back into the light guide. The filter color lies within a CIE-1931 chromaticity diagram {4800° Kelvin; 570 nm; 600 nm} color gamut triangle. Color filtering absorbs blue flare rays as a function of distance along the guide, imparting a near-end reddening gradient to the emitted light in inverse proportion to the far-end reddening gradient, giving the emitted light a constant apparent color, independent of distance along the guide.

    摘要: To provide an incandescent lamp having a film with high color-temperature conversion capable of raising the color temperature of light radiated from an incandescent lamp in which the strength of the film with high color-temperature conversion in question is raised to prevent cracking and peeling, and to provide said lamp through a simple method of production, the film with high color-temperature conversion contains red optical-absorbent fine particles dispersed in a binder formed on the surface of a glass bulb. The red optical-absorbent fine particles have a mean particle diameter of 1 nm to 1000 nm and form 50 to 90 wt % of the film. Furthermore, the binder in the film with high color-temperature conversion also has red optical-absorption properties.

A color display device can be produced which includes the fluorescent conversion filter. The fluorescent conversion filter includes a fluorescent conversion film and a light absorption film on the display side surface of the flourescent conversion film. The flourescent conversion film has an absorbance of 1 or less in the wavelength region between 450 nm and 520 nm. The light absorption film has an absorbance of greater than I in the wavelength region between 450 nm and 520 nm. The fluorescent conversion film contains a photo-curing resin or a photo- and thermo-setting resin, that contains an acrylate polymer, a methacrylate polymer or an acrylate-methacrylate copolymer as its main component.

    摘要: A lighted display device includes three light emitting diodes therein, with each of the diodes transmitting a different one of the three subtractive primary colors of red, yellow, and blue when electrical power is applied thereto. The three LEDs are capable of collectively emitting any of the colors of the visual spectrum, depending upon the relative electrical power which is applied separately and collectively to them. The LEDs are contained in the center of a base, and are installed upon a circuit board which is in turn installed within the base. A light passage is provided in the center of the upper surface of the base, with various articles being installable thereon for supporting translucent statuary, candles, etc. as desired for lighted display thereof. The present lighted device includes circuitry for automatically varying the relative intensity of each of the LEDs over a predetermined period of time, resulting in the LEDs collectively emitting a broad spectrum of gradually changing colors over the time period. The circuitry may be adjusted to provide for the transmission of a single color by any one or two of the LEDs if so desired, as well. The present lighted display device provides for the display of various translucent art objects and the like, with the varying colors emitted therethrough providing a wide variety of interest as the color and appearance of the displayed object varies.

As such, the film medium polymer, so prepared by modulating its molecular weight distribution and dispersion degree of polymer, has an excellent combination of properties such as (1) the compatibility of the polymer to a dispersion polymer can be enhanced, (2) the dichroic particles can be homogeneously dispersed with the size of less than visible light wavelength, and (3) the permeability of light is modulated from the arrangement of particles induced by electric field, thus increasing the transparency of film itself.

    摘要: A light generating base includes a motor having a motor shaft with upper and lower portions that project upwardly and downwardly from a motor body. The lower portion of the motor shaft is secured to a stand such that the motor body is rotatable relative to the stand about a vertical axis. A lamp unit is mounted on the upper portion of the motor shaft, and is operable so as to radiate light upwardly. An upright filter supporting member has a lower portion that is secured to the motor body, and an upper portion that projects upwardly beyond the lamp unit. A color filter disk is mounted on the upper portion of the filter supporting member so as to be co-rotatable therewith, and is disposed above the lamp unit and transverse to a light radiating direction of the lamp unit. The color filter disk is formed with a plurality of differently colored angularly displaced light filtering regions. An upright fiber supporting member has a lower portion that is secured to the stand, and an upper portion that projects upwardly beyond the color filter disk. An optical fiber bundle includes a plurality of optical fiber strands, and has a lower end secured to the upper portion of the fiber supporting member.
