    摘要: A flame-resistant resin composition is disclosed that uses a non-halogen flame retardant as the flame retardant, and allows resin processed articles to be obtained which have superior flame resistance and heat resistance. The flame-resistant resin composition comprises a non-halogen flame retardant (A) containing a metal phosphinate (a) represented by the following formula (I) wherein, R1 and R2 respectively represent an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 12 carbon atoms or less, M represents calcium, aluminum or zinc, m=3 when M is aluminum, and m=2 when M is other than aluminum, and an organic phosphorous flame retardant (b), an isocyanurate compound (B) having one or more glycidyl groups in the molecular structure thereof, and a thermoplastic resin (C).

    摘要: An arc-extinguishing processed resin article is disclosed that exhibits an excellent arc-extinguishing behavior, heat resistance, pressure resistance, and molding processability, and a circuit breaker that uses this arc-extinguishing processed resin article are provided. The circuit breaker includes a stationary contactor that has a stationary contact point, a movable contactor that has a movable contact point contacting the stationary contactor and that carries out a switching operation with the stationary contactor, and an arc-extinguishing device that extinguishes the arc generated when the stationary contactor and movable contactor engage in a switching operation. The circuit breaker uses, as the arc-extinguishing device, an arc-extinguishing processed resin article obtained by molding a resin composition containing (A) polyolefin resin that has the hydroxyl group substituted for a portion of the hydrogen atoms in the methylene chain and that contains 0.2 to 0.7 mole hydroxyl group per mole methylene group, (B) a crosslinking agent that has a terminal unsaturated group, and (C) metal hydroxide whose surface has been treated with higher aliphatic acid, wherein the resin composition contains 5 to 60 mass parts of the metal hydroxide (C) per 100 mass parts of the polyolefin resin (A), and radiation-induced crosslinking is executed on the resin composition after the molding thereof.

Also disclosed is a flame-retardant resin processed article obtained by using such a reactive flame retardant. An organophosphorus compound represented by the general formula (I) below, wherein at least one or more of X1-X3 represent a group containing phosphorus and having a terminal unsaturated group, is used as a reactive flame retardant which is reactive with resins. A flame-retardant resin processed article can be obtained by solidifying the resin composition containing the organophosphorus compound and then reacting it through heating or application of radiation.

Specifically, a resin composition containing a cyclic phosphorus compound flame retardant, a hydrophilic silica powder having an average particle diameter of not more than 15 m, and a resin with the total content of the cyclic phosphorus compound and the hydrophilic silica powder being 10-45% by mass is molded into a certain shape or formed into a coating film. The hydrophilic silica powder is preferably composed of porous structures having a pore volume of not more than 1.8 ml/g and a pH of 4-7. More preferably, the hydrophilic silica powder has an oil absorption of not less than 50 ml/100 g in accordance with JIS K5101.

Linearly polarized light from a light source enters a retarder to produce a desired elliptically polarized state. The elliptically polarized light is then passed through a half-wave plate to rotate the direction of a principal axis of the ellipse. The light is expanded into two dimensions by lens systems and to obtain planar information, and is further transmitted through a disk substrate so that the birefringence of a specimen, which depends on an inner stress state and a polymer orientation state, changes the phase of the light. The light wave with its phase changed is passed through a polarizer arranged perpendicular to the principal axis of the retarder. The CCD detects the light wave as a light intensity.
