摘要: A lamp assembly for a vehicle includes a housing, an outer lens partially covering the housing to define an enclosure between the housing and lens, a light emitting diode (LED) light source arranged in the enclosure, and a light guide forming part of the housing. The light guide may include a light receiving surface within the enclosure and a light emitting surface outside the enclosure so that light emitted from the LED light source is received by the light receiving surface of the light guide and directed toward the light emitting surface of the light guide and light is output from the light guide.

摘要: A safety accessory for mounting on a vehicle comprises a housing having a front side and a back side, and a laterally extending mounting portion for connecting to the vehicle, a mirror mounted on the front side, and a bulb assembly within the housing facing the back side. The bulb assembly comprises a plurality of white, amber and red light sources, and a control circuit connected between light sources and a plurality of inputs. The control circuit causes the white light sources to be on when power is received at a first input, the amber light sources to flash in a standard flash pattern when power is received at a second input, the red light sources to flash in the standard pattern when power is received at a third input, and the amber light sources to flash in an emergency strobe pattern when power is received at a fourth input.

摘要: The present invention relates to a light assembly for a vehicle comprising: a housing; a lens covering the housing; a plurality of light sources arranged in the housing; wherein the plurality of light sources comprises at least one first light source, at least one second light source and at least one third light source; and a reflector body mounted in the housing; wherein the reflector body comprises a reflector element and different zones for each of the at least one light sources; wherein light emitted by the at least one first light source is captured by the reflector element which reflects the light towards the lens, the lens directing the light generally downward towards the ground area when the light assembly is attached to the vehicle, light emitted by the at least one second light source is passed through an aperture in the reflector body without reflection of the emitted light, and light emitted from the at least one third light source is captured by the reflector body which reflects and directs the light, in particular, horizontally towards the lens, with the lens in particular directing the light generally horizontal, and a light collector is located between the reflector body and the housing; wherein the light collector captures and transmits the light emitted from at least one of the at least one light sources, a rear view device and a vehicle with at least one light assembly.

摘要: A lighted exterior mirror system suitable for use in a vehicle includes a lighted exterior rearview mirror assembly having a light module, which includes a planar circuit board and a light guiding element. The light module includes a plurality of illumination sources disposed on a mounting side of the circuit board and operable to emit light. When the illumination sources are actuated, light emitted by each of the illumination sources is emitted in a direction normal to the mounting side of the planar circuit board. The light guiding element is configured so that light emitted by the illumination sources is redirected by the light guiding element so that light emanates from the light guiding element in a direction parallel to the mounting side of the planar circuit board and parallel to the road surface.

摘要: The present invention refers to an indirect vision device for vehicles integrating a lighting unit, like light indicators or light decorative elements, preferably for vehicles. The lighting device (1) comprises: a light source (2), a light guide (5) for guiding light emitted by the light source (2). The light guide (5) comprises a light guide material and scattering particles (10) admixed therein, and the refractive index of the scattering particles (10) is different than the refractive index of the light guide matrix material, such that light guided by the light guide (5), can be scattered by the scattering particles (10) out of the light guide (5). The invention provides an indirect vision device with enhanced homogeneous luminance and increased luminance.

摘要: A vehicular lighted exterior door handle system includes a lighted exterior door handle assembly and a light module disposed at the door handle assembly. The light module includes at least three illumination sources linearly arranged at a circuit board and individually operable to emit light. With the door handle assembly mounted at a door of a vehicle, the individual illumination sources are operated responsive to a user input that is actuatable by a driver of the vehicle to activate a turn signal indicator system of the vehicle. With the door handle assembly mounted at the door of the vehicle, and when the illumination sources are operated to emit light responsive to actuation of the user input, an operation sequence of the individual illumination sources is varied between at least a first operation sequence and a second operation sequence based at least in part on movement of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular lighted exterior door handle system includes a lighted exterior door handle assembly having a light module, which includes a circuit board and at least three linearly arranged illumination sources at the circuit board. When the illumination sources are actuated, light emitted by each of the illumination sources is emitted outboard away from the door of the equipped vehicle. With the lighted exterior door handle assembly mounted at the door of the equipped vehicle, and when the illumination sources are actuated with the door of the equipped vehicle unlocked, the light module emits light in a first pattern. With the lighted exterior door handle assembly mounted at the door of the equipped vehicle, and when the illumination sources are actuated with the door of the equipped vehicle locked, the light module emits light in a second pattern that is different from the first pattern.
