摘要: The present invention relates to a vehicle U-turn indicator system to alert other motorists, cyclists and pedestrians of a potential U-turn made by a vehicle. The indicator is an inverted “U” shaped device having LED lights configured to blink in a running manner from one end to other and vice versa. The blinking of LED lights in one direction indicates U-turn of the vehicle in one direction (i.e. left) and in another direction indicates a U-turn of the vehicle in another direction (i.e. right). The indicator can be mounted to the front and rear of the vehicle in addition to side mirrors. An actuator is used for activating the U-turn indicator in a preferred direction.

摘要: An auxiliary lighting system for a helmet operable with a lighting system of a vehicle comprising a vehicle brake light, comprised of a helmet portion and a vehicle portion. The helmet portion is comprised of a helmet lighting unit, a microcontroller in communication with the helmet brake light, and a helmet transceiver in communication with the microcontroller. The vehicle portion is comprised of a supporting body, a vehicle transceiver, and an accelerometer joined to the supporting body and in communication with the microcontroller. The microcontroller is programmed with an algorithm such that the microcontroller receives a signal indicative of the relative position of the accelerometer, determines the performance capability of the accelerometer in detecting acceleration of the vehicle with respect to the Earth based upon the signal indicative of the position of the accelerometer, and presents an indication of accelerometer performance capability.

摘要: A door handle providing a superior visibility from both front and rear directions of a vehicle is provided. The door handle includes: an operating portion that bulges from a door outer surface, defining a space between the door outer surface and the operating portion, allowing a user to insert his or her hand into the space; a fixation portion arranged adjacent to the operating portion, including a lens as a translucent member; an outer surface provided in the lens, the outer surface having such a region that a vehicle rear side of the region is positioned outward as compared to a vehicle front side thereof; and a lighting body serving as a direction indicator allowing a transmissive illumination to be made from the inner surface side of the lens. Thus, the lens can be made visible not only from the vehicular lateral side but from the vehicular front side.
